In the history of Chinese education,heuristic teaching has a long history.Today’s innovative era calls for teachers to attach importance to the implementation of heuristic teaching in mathematics class.Since the core literacy of mathematics in China was clearly put forward in 2017,how to cultivate students’ core literacy of mathematics has become an important teaching theoretical and practical topic that education researchers and front-line teachers always pay attention to.Therefore,this paper takes trigonometric function and triangle solving content in high school textbooks as an example,combines with existing research results,further discusses the important role of heuristic teaching in cultivating students’ core literacy of mathematics,investigates and analyzes the current situation of senior one students’ core literacy level of trigonometric function and triangle solving content.And the current situation of teachers using heuristic teaching to promote the development of students’ mathematics core literacy in first-line mathematics class related to this content,the main teaching problems were found out,the corresponding teaching suggestions were put forward,and the teaching cases were designed.Firstly,in the aspect of investigation and research,the core teaching content and the main core literacy involved are analyzed and determined by referring to the description and requirements of trigonometric functions and triangle solving in the curriculum standard.Based on the evaluation framework of mathematics core literacy proposed by Yu Ping,the evaluation table of mathematics core literacy corresponding to trigonometric function and triangle solving content is determined,and then the test paper and questionnaire are designed.Secondly,through the analysis of the survey results of the test paper,it is concluded that the current situation of the students in the mathematics core literacy level related to trigonometric functions and triangle solving:(1)The students’ mathematical operation literacy level is the highest,followed by the logical reasoning literacy level,the visual imagination literacy level is the third,the mathematical abstract literacy level is relatively low,and the mathematical modeling literacy level is the lowest.(2)According to the students’ answers,combined with the interview and practice experience,it analyzes and presents the typical problems existing in the core literacy of trigonometric functions and triangle solving of current students.Thirdly,from the perspective of teachers and students,this paper analyzes the current situation and some main problems of heuristic teaching in promoting the cultivation and development of students’ mathematics core literacy,and puts forward some teaching suggestions.Teachers have the following five main problems:(1)ignoring the "times" of heuristic teaching;(2)The theoretical understanding of heuristic teaching and mathematics core literacy is not sufficient;(3)Lack of skills to implement heuristic teaching;(4)Lack of accurate mathematical core literacy objectives;(5)Evaluation mechanism needs to be improved.There are three main problems in the aspect of students:(1)the degree of cooperation of students needs to be improved;(2)Students lack interest and confidence in the cultivation of mathematics core literacy;(3)Students’ knowledge level and experience level are not uniform.Based on these main problems,seven teaching suggestions are put forward:(1)strengthen theoretical study and research,and actively establish heuristic teaching classroom;(2)pay attention to the process of inspiration,master the teaching art of "time blank";(3)Use a variety of ways to inspire,actively promote the development of mathematics core literacy;(4)Establish the goal of mathematics core literacy and pay attention to the training of heuristic teaching;(5)Improve the evaluation mechanism to lay a solid foundation for heuristic teaching;(6)Create a democratic and good heuristic classroom atmosphere;(7)Pay attention to improving students’ cooperation and promote the smooth implementation of heuristic teaching.Finally,two concrete teaching designs of cultivating students’ mathematical core literacy by heuristic teaching are given.To a certain extent,this study has enriched the evaluation research on the level of mathematics core literacy related to trigonometric functions and triangle solving content.The proposed teaching suggestions and teaching case design can provide certain reference for front-line teachers to cultivate students’ mathematics core literacy through heuristic teaching teaching practice.
