The transformation strategy based on the 5E teaching model is a teaching method that places students at the center of learning,encourages them to actively participate and explore knowledge,and improves their learning motivation and learning outcomes.Based on the 5E teaching model,the transformation strategy can make students more actively engaged in the learning process,more easily generate interest and motivation in learning,and thus increase their enthusiasm and initiative in learning.At the same time,it guides students to explore knowledge through activities such as posing questions,conducting experiments,and explorations,allowing them to independently explore knowledge and enhance their independent thinking and innovative abilities,as well as improving their practical skills.It can also cultivate students’ spirit of teamwork and promote the improvement of their comprehensive qualities.Practice has found that most students form certain subjective perceptions due to contact with things and different external influences in their daily life,and there is a phenomenon of deviation from science,and these wrong concepts are called myth concepts.High school students in mind myth concept,including "heredity and evolution" module myth concept is more,In the second year of senior high school,gene variation and mutation belong to the advanced chemistry part of genetics and the key teaching content of genetics.The content of this chapter is related to the content of compulsory course 2 to a certain extent timely and effectively change high school students in the mind of "heredity and evolution" myth concept,is particularly important.The aim of this study is to explore typical misconceptions in high school biology and to use the 5E teaching model for conceptual change instruction to improve student learning outcomes and efficiency.The research process includes organizing misconceptions through literature retrieval and questionnaire surveys,analyzing their causes,applying transformation strategies in teaching design based on the four conditions of conceptual change and the 5E teaching model,and analyzing and explaining each stage.The study was conducted in two classes at X High School in X County,Gansu Province.After the practice,post-tests were conducted to verify the transformation effect and the effectiveness of the transformation strategy based on the 5E teaching model.Practice has proven that implementing strategic transformation in the 5E teaching mode can effectively assist students to reasonably transform erroneous perceptions in their minds and form correct scientific concepts thereby improving student learning outcomes and efficiency.Therefore,using transformation strategies based on the 5E teaching model can improve the transformation effect of typical misconceptions in high school biology and enhance student learning outcomes and efficiency.
