| As one of the core qualities of information science and technology, computational thinking has become the ability that everyone should have in the 21 st century.Primary school students are the future of our motherland, shouldering the historical mission of revitalizing China. Therefore t is particularly important to train students’ calculating thinking ability in primary school. At present, the curriculum standards of all subjects in compulsory education all emphasize the importance of interdisciplinary teaching, which indicates a new teaching trend to cultivate students’ core quality through interdisciplinary teaching.First of all,by reviewing the relevant literature on computational thinking and interdisciplinary teaching, this study found that there are relatively few teaching practices on how to use interdisciplinary knowledge to cultivate students’ computational thinking in primary school information technology classrooms, hence further research is needed.Based on the above analysis, the main content of this study is to carry out interdisciplinary teaching design and teaching practice oriented to training computational thinking in the primary school information technology class.Secondly, through literature review, this study defines five core elements of computational thinking, including decomposition, abstraction, algorithm, evaluation and generalization respectively. This study evaluates Whether the improvement of these five elements make students’ computational thinking abilities improved. Then, the principles of instructional design for interdisciplinary training of computational thinking and the basis for the construction of the framework are proposed, and a preliminary framework of instructional design for computational thinking training is created. The framework includes four parts: teaching content, teaching objectives, teaching process, and teaching evaluation. Finally, according to the proposed instructional design framework,a semester of action research is carried out.In the three rounds of instructional practice of action research, the instructional design framework is further optimized, and finally an interdisciplinary instructional design oriented to the cultivation of computational thinking is formed. Before the action research, students were per-tested for computational thinking;after each round of action research, students were tested for interdisciplinary knowledge;after three rounds of action research, students were post-tested for computational thinking.Through data comparison, classroom observation and interview analysis, the feasibility and effectiveness of the teaching design are verified. This study is found that the teaching design of interdisciplinary training of computational thinking can improve students’ computational thinking ability, and students’ decomposition, abstraction, algorithmic thinking, summary thinking and evaluation thinking have been improved to varying degrees. At the same time,it also has a positive impact on students’ classroom participation and interdisciplinary learning results. In order to cultivate primary school students’ computational thinking ability, this study conducted practices in class and tested the effect of these practices, proposed interdisciplinary teaching cases, and provided certain references for primary school interdisciplinary training of computational thinking. Finally, this study pointed out its limitations and proposed future research prospects. |
