| With the advancement of the new curriculum reform and the introduction of the Geography Curriculum Standards for senior high Schools(2017 Edition,2020Revision),the cultivation of geography core literacy has become a new direction to deepen the curriculum reform. The current educational situation is criticized by many educators.Traditional teaching methods are difficult to stimulate the enthusiasm of students and cannot meet the cultivation needs of students’ core geographical literacy.Based on this,in order to achieve the effective cultivation of students’ geography core accomplishment,we must actively explore the student-centered teaching methods.Project-based learning is "cooperative learning, inquiry learning and project learning" advocated in the standard teaching suggestions of geography curriculum, which is one of the ways to effectively implement the cultivation of the core quality of geography.Project-based learning is essentially a problem solving process. In this process, designing problem chains can guide students to advance their thinking.Students acquire geographic knowledge through the guidance of problem chains, solve project tasks, and promote the internalization and transfer of knowledge. Therefore, this paper sets out to combine project-based learning with question chain to explore teaching methods that effectively cultivate geography core literacy,in order to change the disadvantages of traditional geography teaching to a certain extent.Guided by the theory of constructivism, the theory of the nearest development zone, the theory of pragmatic education and the theory of problem teaching, this paper adopts the research methods of interview and case analysis to investigate and analyze the current situation and existing problems of the design and application of high school geography question chain based on project-based learning, and proposes the design process and strategy of high school geography question chain based on project-based learning combined with the existing problems. Finally, the teaching case is presented. This paper mainly draws the following conclusions: First,it makes clear the advantages of combining project-based learning with question chain.Secondly, the design and application status of high school geography problem chain based on project-based learning is investigated and analyzed.Third, put forward the design process and strategy. The design process is: select the project content, demonstrate the project topic selection;Integrate teaching material content and reconstruct knowledge system;Establish project tasks and form horizontal core problem chain;Disassemble project tasks and presuppose vertical sub-problem chains;Focus on high-level thinking and optimize the overall problem framework.Design strategy: clear logic main line, generate problem chain;Enrich the types of problems and cultivate higher-order thinking;Focus on problem generation to avoid excessive traction;Pay attention to the integrity of links, strengthen the display and evaluation of results.Fourthly,it develops teaching cases based on the theoretical framework constructed in this paper to present a complete teaching case design. |
