| In recent years,the continuous development of medical-support combined pension institutions has basically solved the problems of life care for the semi-disabled elderly,but the mental health of the semi-disabled elderly is becoming one of the important issues facing pension services in our country.In order to further improve the quality of life of the partially disabled elderly,it is necessary to provide them with appropriate spiritual comfort.At present,most social work fields emphasize solving mental health problems from the perspective of the problem of the semi-disabled elderly,ignoring the factors of the semi-disabled elderly.Therefore,in this study,from the vantage point,we use the methods and techniques of case work to intervene and find and pay attention to the inner strength and advantage resources of the semi-disabled elderly people in the institution,aiming at helping them to explore their own potential,stimulate their advantages,regain self-confidence,acquire a sense of self-worth realization and identity,and live a high-quality and happy old life.This study is a case work intervention study on spiritual consolation for the semi-disabled elderly in the pension institution from the perspective of advantages.In the early stage,through participating in the practice of questionnaire survey and interview of the semi-disabled elderly in L pension institution and nursing staff,it is known that the semi-disabled elderly in L pension institution have a lack of security,lack of interpersonal communication,lack of passion for life and low self-efficacy.Problems with cognitive biases that lead to depression.This is mainly because the semi-disabled elderly are affected by the emotional support of family and friends,social role changes and other factors.We assessed the degree of disability and mental health status through the Daily Activity Ability Scale(ADL),Positive and Negative Emotion Scale(PANAS)and Memorial University of Newfoundland’s Happiness Scale(MUNSH).From the vantage point of the semi-disabled W,we explored how to improve the mental health of the semi-disabled elderly with casework to achieve spiritual comfort.This study is of practical value in social work and is of practical significance in improving the quality of life of the elderly. |
