Since the introduction of the new curriculum standards,the "core literacy of Chinese language" has gradually become an important goal of high school Chinese teaching.Among them,the core literacy of "language construction and application" is the basis and core of the other three literacies."Language construction" has two connotations.The first layer of connotation focuses on the construction of words,phrases,and sentences within the language system,while the second layer focuses on the construction of personal language expression systems,such as mental dictionaries of language,sentence dictionaries,and habits of expression."Language application" is based on "language construction",realizing the application of language in practice.The literacy of "language construction and application" is closely related to learning methods,knowledge application,skill development,and quality acquisition in Chinese learning.It is an indispensable link and basis for students in the process of learning Chinese.How to improve students’ "language construction and application" literacy in high school Chinese teaching is a topic worth discussing,and it also has important practical textual and learning situation bases.This thesis takes high school Chinese novel reading teaching as the support,and discusses the guiding role of "language construction and application" in the actual teaching process,specifically divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly analyzes the learning situation and theoretical basis of "language construction and application" in high school Chinese novel reading teaching,analyzing the psychological characteristics and processes of high school students’ learning and reading,and pointing out that pragmatics and constructivism theory are important theoretical supports for cultivating students’ language literacy.The second chapter revisits high school Chinese novel reading teaching in the field of "language construction and application",combined with practical investigations and teaching cases,analyzing existing achievements,problems,and causes of problems.Based on this,the third chapter,based on the cultivation of the core literacy of "language construction and application",discusses feasible teaching strategies in high school Chinese novel reading from the two aspects of teaching content and language practice.The two parts of "language construction" and "language application" complement each other,and both are indispensable.The thesis proposes teaching content emphasis based on the language of novel text,and proposes to enrich language practice activities from the two aspects of language sense cultivation and expression transfer,so as to comprehensively improve students’ language construction and application abilities.
