The Impact Analysis Of Internet Use On Women’s Employment Type And Income

With the rapid development of information technology,the Internet has been widely used.It reduces the cost of information exchange and improves the transparency of information transmission.Internet has made a profound impact on people’s employment forms and income.It provides a new driving force for the development of China’s digital economy growth.On the one hand,the use of the Internet can break the restrictions of time and space,providing more flexible employment opportunities for employees.On the other hand,the Internet provides more channels to obtain information,so employees can obtain employment information in a more convenient and low-cost way.At the same time,with the popularity of the Internet,the basic operation ability of the Internet has become a necessary skill for employees in many industries.Therefore,when studying the employment of workers,the Internet is an important influencing factor.By sorting out the existing relevant research literature,this paper selects some variables that may affect women’s employment and income and focuses on the impact of Internet use.The work of this paper mainly includes the following two aspects:Firstly,establishing a binary logistic regression model of Internet use and women’s employment.The results show that women who use the Internet can increase the employment probability by 0.77 times.Then,subdividing the types of female employment into standard employment,non-standard employment,opportunity entrepreneurship and survival entrepreneurship.After that,establishing a disorderly multi classification logistic regression model of Internet use on female employment types.It is found that Internet use has different effects on different employment types.Internet use has the greatest promotion effect on opportunity entrepreneurship,which can increase by about 3.11 times,followed by 1.79 times the probability of standard employment.It increases the probability of survival entrepreneurship by 0.95 times and the probability of non-standard employment by 0.43 times.The empirical results also show that different Internet use preferences have different effects on employment types.Taking the Internet as the main source of information has the greatest marginal impact on survival entrepreneurship,and the degree of Internet use in leisure has the greatest marginal impact on opportunity entrepreneurship.The more frequently the Internet is used,the greater the role of promoting employment.Second,establishing quantile regression model of the impact of Internet use on women’s income.It is found that the positive impact of Internet use on women’s income increases with the increase of quantile.At 0.1 quantile,using the Internet can increase the marginal income by 3184.90 yuan.At 0.5 quantile,using the Internet can increase the marginal income by 5783.33 yuan.At 0.9 quantile,using the Internet can increase the marginal income by 12005.36 yuan.Because quantile regression is not suitable for prediction and it can be seen from the quantile regression results that the impact of some independent variables on income is nonlinear.This paper decide to use tree regression method to establish the income forecast model.After carried out the 7-fold cross validation with the ordinary least squares regression,it can be found that the sum of squares of the average error of the decision tree regression prediction model is much smaller than the ordinary least squares regression model.
