| Primary school students have good mathematical problem posing ability, which not only has a beneficial impact on mathematics learning itself, but also helps to promote the development of primary school students’ innovative ability. This study takes the fifth grade students of HS elementary school as the research object, analyzes the current situation and influencing factors of their mathematical problem posing ability, and puts forward targeted suggestions according to the survey results,in order to improve the mathematical problem posing ability of the fifth grade students of HS elementary school. This study uses the literature methodology to summarize and arrange the existing study findings of mathematical problem posing ability,so as to lay a good theoretical foundation for the smooth development of follow-up research.By referring to the relevant literature, this study uses the test paper that has been tested for reliability and validity to evaluate the number, type and innovation of students’ mathematical problems with the three indicators of fluency, flexibility and originality,so as to make an overall analysis of the mathematical problem posing ability of the fifth grade students. It is found that there is a large gap in the scores of the test of mathematical problem posing ability among fifth graders, and the overall score is poor;in terms of evaluation indicators, the average score of fluency index is the highest, followed by flexibility, originality is the lowest. Then,it analyzes the differences of mathematical problem posing ability from three aspects: problem situation, mathematics level and gender. The results show that there are significant differences in fluency, flexibility and originality of primary school students’ mathematical problems posing under different problem situations and different mathematical levels;there is no significant difference in the problem posing ability between primary school students of different genders. This study uses the methods of questionnaire and interview, based on the perspective of students,to explore the impact of five factors on students’ problem posing ability:mathematical problem consciousness, mathematical problem posing attitude, mathematical learning interest, mathematical learning motivation and self-efficacy.On this basis, this study puts forward corresponding suggestions to improve students’ problem posing ability:create effective problem situations and cultivate students’ habit of daring to ask questions,so as to develop students’ awareness of mathematical problems;changing the traditional concepts of teachers and students, enriching pupils’ positive emotional experience of raising mathematical problems,so as to improve students’ mathematical problem posing attitude;cultivate the habit of active learning, pay attention to the influence of mathematical culture,so as to enhance the mathematical learning interest;stimulate internal cognitive needs and moderately weaken external motivation,so as to stimulate mathematics learning motivation;guide pupils to make reasonable attribution and create opportunities to experience success,so as to strengthen students’ sense of self-efficacy. |
