Youth "Sang culture" is a popular subculture in recent years,and a product of reality problem and social structural contradictions.Youth "Sang culture" has profoundly influenced the daily behavior and mentality of young people,reflecting their social mentality and realistic dilemmas,and implying their desire for emotional interaction and value reconstruction.The study of the style construction and media representation of youth "Sang culture" are important to understand its cultural meaning,to discover the young people’s thoughts and value demands,and to realize a positive interactive dialogue between main society and the young people.This paper comprehensively uses the method of text analysis and in-depth interviews to trace the cultural roots and social situation of the birth of youth "Sang culture",to analyze the generation and spread of youth "Sang culture" textual symbols,and to analyze the generation and practical expression of the subcultural style of it.This paper also sort out the texts of youth "Sang culture" represented by the media and online opinion leaders.In this way,we can see how the society constructs and guides youth "Sang culture".Based on the above research,this paper clarify the practical significance and potential worries of youth "Sang culture".Through the study of this paper,the main conclusions are as follows:First,"decadence" is the cultural meme of the youth "Sang culture".Youth "Sang culture" reflects the loss of value belonging,spiritual anxiety and self-anesthesia of youth groups,and shows the cultural connotation of "decadence" of avoidance and rejection of the mainstream values.The social context of the birth of youth "Sang culture" includes the contradictions catalyzed during the period of social transformation,the increased risk of uncertainty,the crisis of mainstream value identity and the opening of media platforms.Second,textual symbols are an important way for the style construction of youth "Sang culture".At the level of compilation and expression of text symbols,the youth’s "Sang culture" shows the characteristics and connotation of "anti-language".The "re-lexicalization" is the youth "Sang subculture" group’s soft rebellion against the mainstream discourse.The "overlexicalization" reflects the youth "Sang subculture" group’s concern and accusation about their own situation.The "biased meaning" of the youth "Sang culture" group,which devalues themselves and elevates the others,reflects their dissatisfaction and resistance to the structural contradictions of society.At the level of communication diffusion of textual symbols,direct use,semantic generalization and formatting are the most common strategies.Third,the style is the core concept and key element of interpretation of youth "Sang culture".Through the "bricolage" of multiple text symbols,the youth "Sang culture" group realizes the rewriting and reconstruction of meaning,emotion and image.The youth group has formed the style of youth "Sang culture" with the help of the symbol and significance of the "homology".The style is prominently manifested in the decadence and powerlessness at the level of group "image",the deconstruction of mainstream values and the expression of emotional discourse at the level of "argot",and the "Buddhism" and "lying flat" at the level of "demeanour".Fourth,the mass media’s representation of youth "Sang culture" is aimed at guiding and dissipating it.In addition to moral condemnation,the mass media can accept youth "Sang culture" with an open and tolerant attitude,use multiple perspectives and viewpoints to dialogue with young people,mend the gap between mass culture and subculture,so as to maintain a good cultural atmosphere.Fifth,as a pressure-reducing valve for some young people,youth "Sang culture" has some positive meaning,including self-relieving and purifying at the level of emotional catharsis,bonding and healing at the level of emotional interaction,and self-identification and value reconstruction at the level of value construction.However,there are also some hidden worries in the youth "Sang culture",including spiritual paralysis,value nihilism,self-lost and group’s voice imbalance,which are worthy of caution.
