| For a long time,in the context of the so-called ’ universal values ’hegemony advocated by the Western countries represented by the United States,discourse repression has been carried out against developing countries,including China.With the general rise of developing countries,this discourse suppression has not yet subsided,but intensified.On the eve of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games,some Western politicians and media have resorted to the same tricks,invoking a consistent narrative framework of ideological opposition,national interest competition and prejudice in the fields of human rights,ethnicity,environmental protection,gender,etc.,to concoct discourse that discredits and boycotts the Beijing Winter Olympic Games.In view of such remarks that deliberately smear China,the domestic mainstream media should take the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics as an opportunity to actively construct the discourse power of the Beijing Winter Olympics,so as to promote the formation of China ’s international discourse power.In addition,the mainstream media shoulders the social responsibility of popularizing sports culture information and spreading the national sports image to the public,which is reflected in the strong strategic concentration and news professionalism report,professional and focused telling the Beijing Winter Olympics story,letting the sports value dominate the dissemination value,trying to eliminate and deconstruct the value bias held by malicious discourse.Therefore,the analysis of the mainstream media ’s Winter Olympics news discourse can clarify the influencing factors in the agenda setting,communication process and communication effect,as well as whether the community of human destiny is constructed in the report,and whether a good Chinese sports image is constructed.However,at present,there are few studies on text analysis and context analysis in the field of Olympic news communication by using Van Dijk ’s news discourse analysis theory and method,and the research level has not yet been involved in the depth.Therefore,by exploring the text display skills and discourse context in the report,it provides a theoretical reference for news discourse to further strengthen the media publicity services of sports events and cultural exchanges for the main streaming media,and provides a certain mirror for the news concept innovation of Chinese media in the new era.This study takes the news discourse of ’ China Sports Daily ’ 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games as the research object.Based on the text perspective and context perspective of Van Dijk ’s discourse analysis theory,it focuses on the structure analysis of news text and the context analysis of news discourse.The two levels of content aim to sort out the structure of its discourse text and explore the influence of context on the production of news discourse.The study found that :(1)The major change of China ’s mainstream media ’s coverage of international sports events is the tendency of news concept from the traditional " gold medal first " national honor to the " humanistic care " cultural Olympics.The perspective of reporting is more open,and the story of athletes is told at the macro level of cultural exchange.(2)The structure of news text is as follows : flexible use of vocabulary,diversified presentation of sentence patterns and diversified rhetorical methods in micro text;the thematic schemas do not fully present all the traditional items of Van Dijk ’s news schema,but adjust the schema structure according to their own reporting needs.Among the seven themes,the organizational structure of five themes is ’ circular assembly ’.By using the repeated circulation of ’ oral reaction ’ projects and ’ context ’projects,they have shaped their own reporting structure characteristics and constructed an objective and authoritative discourse system.(3)In the context of news discourse,during the Beijing Winter Olympics,news producers constructed the news professionalism of this newspaper in different contexts according to the international and domestic environment,ideological errors and other factors,and guided the public with factual presentation and rational discourse.(4)The reasons for shaping the discourse system of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games : the political aspect is due to the requirements of the international image dissemination of Chinese sports,the economic aspect is due to the great influence of the ’ Olympic economy ’,and the cultural aspect is the construction of the community of human destiny ’ and ’cultural concept guidance;(5)The shortcomings of the news discourse of the Beijing Winter Olympics are as follows : the lack of discourse creativity in telling good sports stories in the text,the lack of cultural exchanges in different contexts in the dissemination content,and the uneven coverage of the Winter Olympics theme in the agenda setting.The optimization strategy of news discourse of international sports events is as follows : refinement of discourse rhetoric and telling Chinese sports stories well;diversification of discourse text,optimize the structure logic of the article;cross-border discourse concept,enhance the ability of international sports agenda setting;the value of discourse context promotes the internationalization of Chinese civilization.The main innovation of this study lies in the new topic selection.The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics is a hot topic in recent research in various disciplines.However,the results of discourse analysis of the Winter Olympics report from the perspective of journalism and communication are rare.Therefore,it is of academic innovation value to select the representative newspaper ’ China Sports Daily ’ in the sports field and use its 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics report text as the object of discourse analysis. |
