Research On The Impact Of Changes In Consumption Structure On The Development Of Leisure Sports Industry And Strategies In The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region

In July 2014,Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei jointly formulated and released the "Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei Sports Industry Cooperative Development Plan",which proposed to enlarge and strengthen the regional sports industry and enhance the overall strength of the regional economy.As an important part of the sports industry,accelerating the development of the leisure sports industry in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei is conducive to improving the overall development level of the regional sports industry.Currently,with the continuous economic growth of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei region,the living standard of the residents has been improved and the consumption structure has started to change.Many studies have shown that the change in consumption structure will promote the adjustment and upgrading of the industry,while the upgrading of consumption structure will also affect the development of the sports industry.The relationship between consumption structure changes and leisure sports industry development in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei regions is further explored.Using the literature method,logical analysis method,mathematical statistics method and induction method,the value added of leisure sports industry is taken as the explanatory variable,and the proportion of subsistence consumption,developmental consumption,enjoyment consumption expenditure and consumption structure upgrading are taken as explanatory variables.11 years of relevant data from 2009-2019 in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region are selected to establish a VAR model,and EVIEWS 8.0 software is used to conduct Unit root test,co-integration test,Granger causality test,impulse response analysis and variance decomposition were used to explore the impact of changes in consumption structure on the development of leisure sports industry and to propose corresponding strategies.The results show that:(1)the consumption structure in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has been upgraded significantly,people’s consumption level has been improved,the proportion of subsistence consumption has been decreasing,and the proportion of development consumption has been increasing year by year;(2)the development scale of leisure sports industry in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has been expanding,and the development speed has been accelerated gradually;(3)subsistence consumption has a certain negative influence on the development of leisure sports industry,and enjoyment consumption has a weak positive influence on the development of leisure sports industry.The influence of development-oriented consumption on the development of leisure sports industry is the greatest,and this influence is always positive and will continue to increase with the passage of time.In this regard,the strategies for the development of leisure sports industry in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei region are proposed:(1)to improve the level of residents’ consumption and promote the upgrading of residents’ consumption structure;(2)to promote the development of leisure sports industry from residents’ consumption demand;(3)to accelerate the optimization and upgrading of leisure sports industry,and to promote the high-quality development of leisure sports industry with multiple initiatives.
