Dilemmas Of Professional Construction Of Modern Industrial College In Local University And Possible Solutions—Baced On "Students’ Satisfication"

In recent years,under the background of the integration of industry and education,the number and scale of modern industrial colleges constructed by local universities have been expanding,and the community is quite concerned about the quality of their construction.In view of the fact that modern industrial colleges are an important grip to promote the transformation of local colleges and universities,that professional construction is a key link for local colleges and universities to actively adapt to social demands and the central work of cultivating talents,and that student satisfaction is an important index to evaluate the professional construction of modern industrial colleges,it is therefore of great significance to study the current situation of professional construction of modern industrial colleges in local colleges and universities from the perspective of student satisfaction to improve the quality of modern industrial colleges.This study is based on theories such as “customer satisfaction”,“integration of industry and education”,and “stakeholders”.Taking the Modern Industrial College of H School as an example,it uses questionnaire and interview methods to investigate the satisfaction degree of students in the Modern Industrial College of H School with respect to the curriculum construction,faculty construction,teaching condition construction,and talent cultivation quality of professional construction.Using spss 26.0,excel Nvivo data analysis software conducts a difference analysis of student satisfaction,loyalty analysis,regression analysis,IPA descriptive analysis,and interview analysis on the data.The research results show that:(1)In the analysis of students’ overall satisfaction with professional development and satisfaction with each dimension under the influence of gender,grade level,major and students’ current study status,there is no significant difference in students’ overall satisfaction with professional development and satisfaction with each dimension under the influence of gender;there is no significant difference in overall satisfaction with grade level,but there is a significant difference in the dimensions of “curriculum construction”and “talent quality”.There is no significant difference in students’ overall satisfaction with professional development and its dimensions under the influence of gender;there is no significant difference in overall satisfaction under the characteristics of grade,but there is a significant difference in the dimensions of “curriculum development” and “quality of talents”;there is no significant difference in students’ overall satisfaction with professional development under the characteristics of major,but there is a significant difference in the dimensions of “curriculum development” and “teaching conditions”;there is a significant difference in students’ satisfaction with professional development under the influence of gender.There is no significant difference in students’ overall satisfaction with the professional development under the characteristics of their major,but there is a significant difference in “curriculum development” and “teaching conditions”;there is a significant difference in students’ overall satisfaction with the professional development and in all four dimensions under the influence of students’ learning status characteristics,and the better the learning status,the higher the students’ satisfaction with the professional development;(2)Student loyalty correlation analysis found that the quality of professional construction affects students’ loyalty to learning,and they are positively correlated.Regression analysis found that curriculum construction,faculty construction,teaching conditions construction and talent quality affect students’ overall satisfaction with professional construction,and they all have a positive impact,and talent quality has the greatest impact on students’ overall satisfaction with professional construction;(3)Students’ satisfaction with each dimension of professional construction in school H is ranked from highest to lowest as “construction of teaching staff”,“construction of curriculum”,“construction of teaching conditions”,“construction of quality of talents”.However,students’ satisfaction with all dimensions of professional development was lower than their expectations,indicating that the professional development of the school still needs to be improved.The IPA model analysis combined with the interviews’ s result revealed the problems in the professional construction of modern industrial colleges in School H,namely the unreasonable arrangement of curriculum structure,the insufficient number of teachers with poor quality,the teaching conditions need to be improved and the quality of talents to be strengthened.(4)The analysis of the interviews revealed that student participation and cooperation are the endogenous factors affecting students’ satisfaction with the professional development;school’ construction is a direct factor affecting students’ satisfaction;government management,enterprise cooperation and social assistance are indirect factors affecting students’ satisfaction.Finally,in view of the problems found,the five levels of government,school,enterprise,society and students put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,with a view to improving the quality of the professional construction of the modern industrial college of School H and providing reference for the professional construction of modern colleges in other local universities.
