Study On The Topic Characteristics Of Moocs Forum Users And The Formation Mechanism Of Communication Network

With the rapid development of network technology,the emergence of Massive Open Online Courses(MOOC)has brought about a boom in Online teaching,it has also brought about changes in the dissemination of knowledge and education.However,it still faces many obstacles in terms of intelligence and big data analysis technology,as well as the high dropout rate of online learners and the low efficiency of online learning,this has led to the development of moocs still have a lot of variables.The MOOC forum is one of the main tools for online learning,providing a virtual learning exchange for online learners.In the forum,the learner solves the question about the curriculum design,the curriculum arrangement,at the same time meets the puzzle regarding the study,also may read the forum content and post the question voluntarily.When learning discusses the same problem,it gradually forms a forum with the same knowledge background,which helps learners to construct knowledge and plays an auxiliary role in teaching.Online learning forums facilitate the interactive environment can also make it easier for students to build interpersonal relationships,increase motivation to learn.By studying the interaction behavior of learners in the forum,we can identify the characteristics of learners with different loyalties,on the one hand,we can provide suggestions for improving the efficiency of learners and reducing the drop-out rate,on the other hand,can Help Teachers Guide students to conduct in-depth learning and knowledge construction.In this paper,we use web crawler to acquire three computer courses in Chinese University MOOC.First,according to the loyalty of the learners to the forum,the learners who participate in the forum are divided into“active learner”and“non-active learner”,this paper constructs the learner topic sequence based on different topics,then uses the sequence clustering,according to the similarity of the learner topic sequence set,to mine the topic patterns of learners with different loyalties.In order to further explore the formation mechanism of the communication network,we choose the course“Introduction to programming-c language”,and establish the exponential random graph model,this paper analyzes the influence of MOOC forum learners’ topic patterns and learners’ loyalty on forum communication.The results show that “active learner”(learners with high loyalty to MOOC forums)not only post more posts on the forums,but also have more diverse topics,in addition to the course of the exchange of topics can increase the enthusiasm of learners to participate in the Forum,increase the forum’s activity.From the model of exponential random graph,it is easier to establish the relationship with the posts about the course arrangement and the other four types of posts.In addition,the type of learners also has a significant impact on the formation of communication networks.Thus,for learners with different behavioral patterns,active learners can interact to encourage divers to become more active,moving from the margins of the community to the core.
