| In recent years,China’s small and medium-sized agricultural machinery manufacturers have developed rapidly and are going through a critical phase of transformation from traditional to modern production methods,and are gradually moving towards a collaborative innovation phase with independent innovation at its core.However,the shortcomings of insufficient product supply,low technological content and unstable quality have restricted the transformation of agricultural machinery enterprises.With this,how to improve the production efficiency of enterprises,reduce costs,eliminate waste and enhance market competitiveness has become a problem that every agricultural machinery manufacturer must solve.Therefore,in order to solve the current dilemma,companies need to learn and introduce advanced production concepts to effectively improve their market competitiveness.Lean production is an advanced scientific management method that is being implemented by more and more companies.Kanban management,as an important technique of lean production,has the ultimate goal of reducing inventory,improving the management level of the company and increasing the operational efficiency of the company.In this context,this paper takes DW,an agricultural machinery manufacturer,as the object of study.Combining the problems faced by the company,such as unstable production,excessive work-in-process inventory and low production efficiency,the Kanban management system is designed from the perspective of implementing lean production,so as to achieve the objectives of reducing inventory,improving production efficiency and enhancing the enterprise’s risk resilience.The main research elements of this paper are as follows:(1)Analysis of the current production situation and needs of the workshop.Through DW’s internship and research,we understand the company’s current production needs and objectives,and obtain relevant production data on site,including workshop layout,production flow and operating time of each process,draw up a value stream diagram of the current situation of the production workshop,analyse the current production situation by combining the value stream diagram with the actual production situation,identify the current problems in the production process and formulate improvement plans.(2)Design of a Kanban management system for the production floor.According to the enterprise existing in-process inventory,long production cycle,production line imbalance and other problems,in order to control the production batch,reduce in-process inventory,the production process of double spray square baler design Kanban management system,mainly including three aspects: one is the design of the Kanban operation process;two is the design of the Kanban;which includes the Kanban process Kanban type and content of the design,the calculation of the number of Kanban,and the design of the Excel application file,to achieve the automatic calculation of the number of Kanban;third is the Kanban management system before the implementation of the preparatory work to develop improvement programs,to lay the foundation for the implementation of Kanban pull production.(3)Empirical analysis of the operation of the Kanban management system.In order to verify the implementation effect of the proposed improvement scheme,a Petri net model was constructed based on the production process of the workshop,combined with the relevant knowledge of Petri net,and on this basis,Flexsim simulation software was used to model and simulate the workshop system.Through the comparative analysis of the simulation model operation results,it can be seen that the simulation model of the workshop after the implementation of the scheme is in good running condition,in line with the expected objectives,and verifies the feasibility of the improvement scheme.By applying the theories and methods of pull production and Kanban management,a set of Kanban management system solutions was designed for DW,with each process in the workshop pulling production according to the information transmitted by the Kanban,avoiding overproduction and effectively reducing the level of work-in-process inventory while improving production efficiency and meeting orders in a timely manner.The design of a series of preparatory work for the implementation of the Kanban management system provides a good internal environment for the implementation of Kanban management in the workshop;through the operation of Flexsim simulation software,the feasibility of a series of solutions was verified,which can provide certain ideas for the implementation of lean production in the company,and also provide reference for other similar agricultural machinery enterprises in the design of Kanban-driven production. |
