Abstract/Summary:
With the continuous development of Internet technology, online knowledge products gradually become indispensable tools of accessing, communicating, and sharing knowledge for users.Especially to Zhihu and Baidu know the typical social Q&A community, because both the characteristics of the search engines and social networking, play indispensable roles in people’s life. However,in this kind of community, most people only participate in browsing and do not generate knowledge, and even many users will take knowledge hiding behavior when faced with knowledge request.Due to this behavior, many questions in the community cannot be answered in a timely and satisfactory manner, and knowledge seekers cannot obtain the required knowledge because their knowledge requests cannot be satisfied. In the long run, users’ trust in the platform will be reduced, and users in the community will also be lost. The decline of content quality will also affect the competitiveness of the platform and seriously affect the sustainable and healthy development of the community. To avoid the negative effects of knowledge hiding behavior,it is necessary to study the influencing factors of user knowledge hiding behavior in social Q&A community, and to explore how the social Q&A community can take corresponding measures to effectively promote the knowledge interaction of users in the future, and create a good atmosphere for knowledge sharing, attract and retain users. In this study,Zhihu,a well-known community in China,is selected as the research object, and literature research, grounded theory,in-depth interview and other methods are used to carry out this study.h.First of all, through reading a large number of relevant domestic and foreign literature, this paper combs the relevant research of social Q&A community from the perspective of technology, content and users.and then summarizes the knowledge hidden behavior and its research in the physical and virtual organizations.Through literature review,it is found that the research on user knowledge hiding behavior in social Q&A community is lacking and lacks a systematic framework. Therefore, the grounded theory of research method in this paper is determined, and the method and operating steps are introduced. Then, based on grounded theory, the key influencing factors of user knowledge hiding behavior in social Q&A community are analyzed through open coding, spindle coding and selective coding. And the theoretical model is constructed, and the theoretical saturation test of the model is carried out.The influencing factor model of user knowledge hiding behavior in social Q&A community is explained in detail through four core categories:behavior subject factor, behavior object factor, platform service factor and relationship atmosphere factor. Finally,in view of the above four core categories, the following suggestions are put forward to avoid users’ knowledge hiding behavior:optimize the social mechanism to enhance users’ interaction and feedback;Optimize algorithm design to strengthen matching with users;Pay attention to user demand, design more effective incentive mechanism;Strengthen platform management to attract users with high-quality content;Create a good atmosphere and improve user experience. This study enriches the relevant theories of user behavior and knowledge hiding behavior in social Q&A community, and puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions for the development of social question answering community according to the influencing factors of knowledge hiding behavior. The research results of this paper hope to provide some guidance and reference value for the follow-up research and the development of domestic social Q&A community.
