With the urgent needs of mobile communication,autonomous driving,remote sensing detection,microwave treatment,various millimeter-wave module circuits have been deeply applied.However,with the improvement of working frequency band and the expansion of fuctional requirements,it is necessary to keep on in-depth research and analysis on relevant fields.This paper takes the development of millimeter-wave front-end modules and the research on key testing technology as the main direction,and conducts of relevant research:1.In this paper,millimeter wave technology and its current research state are analyzed.In addition,several common architectures of front-end modules are introduced,such as superheterodyne architecture,zero-IF architecture and digital IF architecture;what’s more,the important performance indicators of front-end modules are analyzed in order to provide theoretical guidance and technical ideas for the next step development;2.Based on self-developed millimeter-wave chip,the development of communication front-end module is carried out.First,the transceiver link and system requirements of the millimeter-wave packaged module are analyzed.Second,the unit circuit design and its functional verification are carried out,including the 12V/5V/2.5/1.2V/-5V power supply module and the power protection module.Finally,the PCB design and physical manufacturing of the front-end module are completed;3.Based on commercial 77 GHz millimeter wave radar chips.,the development of sensor system is carried out.First,the influence of chip performance and parameter setting on the system detection performance is analyzed through the linear frequency modulation continuous wave theory.Second,the device selection and circuit design are carried out,including power supply circuit,flash circuit,high-speed interface circuit and microstrip antenna.Finally.the physical manufacturing and testing are completed;4.An EVM test method based on OTA scenario is proposed for antenna RF integration module.By analyzing the EVM link model of the conduction method and the OTA method,a method of calibrating the EVM is proposed to keep the power levels of the transceiver ports under different test links.The method provide an innovative solution and application case for the EVM test.
