| Ancient books carry the development history and wisdom crystallization of the Chinese nation for thousands of years. They are the main carrier of cultural inheritance from generation to generation. The digital platform of ancient books is a new medium that can more widely spread and carry forward the culture of ancient books under the background of the digital age. However,in the process of the development of digital technology, there is a slight lack of research on the humanistic dimension. The main users of this kind of platform are still experts and scholars, and there is still a threshold for ordinary people. Therefore, the construction of ancient books digital platform needs to pay attention to the cultural needs and cognitive characteristics of the public for ancient books, and take the user as the center for design consideration,so as to better promote and realize the "use" of ancient books. In this context, this paper introduces the narrative design that fits the public cognitive model, and discusses how to transform the highly professional cultural resources such as ancient books into people-friendly through the reconstruction of platform design, and truly leap from "collection" to " civilian use ".Based on this research purpose, firstly, through domestic and foreign literature, this paper makes an in-depth study on the current situation of ancient book digital platform and narrative design theory, puts forward that the narrative design concept in ancient book digital platform should be studied from two perspectives: narrow and broad, and then defines the six narrative elements in ancient book digital platform as the theoretical framework of the whole paper: narrative theme, narrative content, narrative structure, reading narrative scene, sensory narrative scene, narrative presentation form.Secondly, through the quantitative questionnaire to understand the communication status of ancient book culture and the public’s attitude, and then conduct in-depth interviews with users under the guidance of narrative elements, and use the grounded theory to extract the nine needs of users for the platform. Then, from the perspective of market research, three excellent indirect competitive product platforms, namely "Dianze Dushu","Xi Chuangzhu" and "the Whole History",are selected to analyze the design performance under the framework of narrative elements, and six product demand points are extracted.Thirdly, the Kano model is used to classify and prioritize the attributes of 15 demand points obtained from the two research paths of users and products,so as to guide the output of design strategy.Fourthly, aiming at the sensory narrative scene,a special narrative element, the semantic difference method in Kansei Engineering was used to conduct in-depth test and research, and the public’s expectation perception of the ancient books digital platform was obtained through the intention scale map,and specific design methods were analyzed. Finally, based on the above research conclusions, this paper puts forward the narrative design strategy of ancient book digital platform, and carries out the design practice corresponding to the specific design process and design module.Narrative is the instinct of the public to express and recognize information in the social environment.Based on the concept of narrative design, this study provides inspiration for the innovative design path of the digital platform of ancient books. The construction process of the platform is divided into different narrative elements, and the specific design means under the narrative elements are refined according to user research and market research,so as to provide specific guidance for the people-friendly design of this kind of platform, which is of great significance to the promotion and dissemination of ancient book culture. |
