With the development of information society,the Internet plays a more and more important role in people’s work and life,and brings many conveniences to people.With the increasing demand of the society for the Internet,especially the current development of e-commerce,live broadcast and other multicast applications,which put forward higher requirements towards the performance and quality of service(Qo S)of the Internet,therefore,network technology also needs to be continuously improved.In order to meet the user’s Qo S requirements,people are gradually turning their attention to overlay networks,establishing an overlapping network based on an IP network for network communication services can improve network performance without changing the physical network conditions.Specifically,an overlay network is a logical network at the application layer,consisting of overlay network nodes and links.In an overlay network,how the network nodes are interconnected and how to establish an effective overlay network link has a great impact on the performance of the overlay network.However,the current mainstream networking methods generally have two problems:(1)The generated overlay network topology is not reasonable enough,which is not conducive to practical applications;(2)The generated overlay network network performance is not good enough to fully meet the needs of practical applications.In order to solve the above problems,this dissertation proposes an overlay network networking method with link optimization,which consists of two parts:topology generation method based on link cost and link optimization method based on particle algorithm,where the former can be used to generate overlay networks,the latter can be used to adjust links and improve network performance.The specific work of this dissertation is as follows:(1)Aiming at the shortcomings of the current mainstream topology generation methods,a topology generation method of network based on link cost(TGON)is proposed.This method fully considers the link cost when generating the overlay network topology,through TGON method,we can get the overlay network with more reasonable topology and better network performance,such a network is more suitable for carrying network simulation experiments and practical applications.This dissertation also studies the optimization scheme of TGON method at the macro method level,and puts forward several feasible optimization schemes.(2)Aiming at the problem that the optimization effect of the current mainstream link optimization method is not ideal and the optimization efficiency is low,a link optimization method based on particle algorithm(LOPA)is proposed.This link optimization method can optimize the overlay network obtained by TGON method at the micro link level,so as to improve the overall performance of the network.Specifically,this method determines the optimal link by successively calculating the change of network performance before and after disconnecting each link,while ensuring the best effect of link optimization,it significantly reduces the calculation cost required for link optimization,and applies particle algorithm to link optimization of overlapping networks for the first time.Taking network topology as the particle in particle algorithm,link optimization is carried out through self cognition and group cognition in the process of particle motion,which significantly improves the efficiency of link optimization.
