Research On The Construction Of Typical Figures In Poverty Alleviation

Since the 18th CPC National Congress,poverty alleviation has been included in China’s"four Comprehensives" strategy and is regarded as one of the priorities of the first centenary Goal.In the process of poverty alleviation,the function of information communication brought by mass media plays a crucial role,and the typical person report of media is an important form and carrier of communication.This paper hopes to summarize the characteristics of media images presented by typical figures in People’s Daily by sorting out the reports on typical figures in poverty alleviation,and discusses what inspirations these media images and reporting modes have on the current society.In this study,samples were crawled from the graphic database of People’s Daily,and 302 valid samples and 279 typical figures were cleaned out from 24398 samples.First of all,from the perspective of macro reporting characteristics,the construction of media images of typical figures in poverty alleviation in People’s Daily presents new features such as colloquial and vivid in terms of reporting title,report quantity,report genre,presentation form,column setting and quoting sources.And the typical characters are constructed by the framework of character struggle,emotional memory,regional development and breakthrough and innovation.Further,the paper analyzes the media image characteristics of typical figures in poverty alleviation from three levels:basic image,behavior image and value image.In the aspect of basic image,the research made statistics on the relatively basic characteristics of gender,age,social identity and region,and found that the construction of typical character image is gradually attaching importance to female characters,age polarization,and the characteristics of grass-roots cadres in poor areas.In terms of behavior image,according to the will behavior of the characters,the research summarizes seven behavior images,such as overall management behavior,taking the lead in getting rich behavior,scientific and technological innovation behavior,educational aid behavior,medical aid behavior,infrastructure construction behavior,environmental protection behavior.Finally,on the basis of the above,through the"interpretation package" reasoning device and vocabulary network co-occurrence map for further analysis,sorted out the learner,innovator,devotee,striver and other four value images.In terms of the construction path,this paper mainly uses the narrative analysis method to analyze and summarize from the three aspects of narrative focus,narrative voice and narrative mode,and holds that the construction path of typical figures in poverty alleviation in People’s Daily mainly presents the main characteristics of storytelling.The research shows that the media image construction of typical figures in poverty alleviation in People’s Daily can combine the individual image and the group image to form a rich and three-dimensional typical figure map.At the same time,the four values of learners,innovators,devotees and strivers are interwoven,greatly enriching the core of the current spirit of The Times and providing the direction for the report of typical characters in the future.In addition,the story narrative features presented by the report also provide enlightenment for the future rural character report.
