Research On Commercial Application Of Satellite Internet In Remote Asset Management

The foreign satellite Internet represented by the "Starlink" of American SpaceX company is developing rapidly and gaining leading advantages.China has recognized the strategic significance of Satellite Internet and incorporated Satellite Internet into the new infrastructure and the "14th five year plan" to promote the development of China’s satellite Internet from the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain.Satellite Internet has the technical characteristics of wide coverage,large bandwidth and low delay.It can provide Internet access services for individual users and industrial enterprise users in areas that cannot be covered by traditional ground networks.Satellite Internet and ground 5g mobile networks constitute an important infrastructure for the development of China’s digital economy,at the same time satellite Internet is also an important guarantee for Chinese enterprises to go overseas in the Belt and Road initiative and also an important starting point for China’s space resources competition and future space exploration.At present,compared with foreign companies,China’s satellite Internet has a gap and still is in its infancy.It has not formed a large-scale deployment and mature industrial ecology.It still faces many challenges in satellite manufacturing,satellite launch,satellite networking,user terminals,business applications and other aspects.Starting from the relevant theories of Satellite Internet and remote asset management,this paper analyzes the implementation schemes and application scenarios of Satellite Internet and remote asset management through literature research and qualitative analysis,summarizes the applicable scenarios of Satellite Internet in personal and industrial fields,and draws lessons from the mature application scenarios of remote asset management at present,Give full play to the advantages of Satellite Internet,make up for the shortcomings of remote asset management,explore the combination of Satellite Internet and remote asset management,and solve the enterprise asset management needs in areas without traditional signal coverage.Taking the power transmission line asset management of enterprises in the energy field as an example,a visual asset management scheme based on Satellite Internet is designed through case analysis method,which organically combines new technologies such as AI,big data and IoT,so as to improve the efficiency of asset management in the energy field and protect the personal safety of staff under adverse natural conditions.By combining the satellite Internet and remote asset management,this paper demonstrates the commercial application scenarios of the satellite Internet in remote asset management,and on this basis demonstrates the commercial application strategies of China’s satellite Internet in remote asset management,and suggests that China’s satellite internet should focus on the application of remote asset management and other industries in the early stage of development,and actively integrate with the new generation of information technology,Actively tap industry asset management needs,build a healthy industrial ecology,and promote the rapid development of China’s satellite Internet.
