Nowadays,in the context of vigorously developing the real economy,how to improve production efficiency and reduce production cost has become a hot issue for manufacturing enterprises.And using the Internet,artificial intelligence and other technological means to upgrade and transform enterprises is also the current trend.Facility layout problem,as one of the most important engineering problems in manufacturing systems,has received the widespread attention.Mainly from the perspective of facility layout optimization,this paper used artificial intelligence algorithm to rationally plan the distribution of facility in space,to reduce production costs and improve production efficiency.Facility layout optimization is a complex combinatorial optimization problem.Among them,double-row layout problem and multi-row layout problem have been widely applied to the actual enterprise production.At present,there are a lot of related research results have been proposed.In double-row and multi-row layout optimization,both discrete facility sequence and continuous facility precise position should be taken into account,which leads to complex layout solution process and long optimization time.In this paper,multi-task optimization technology is adopted to optimize multiple facility layout tasks at the same time.It can improve the effectiveness of layout optimization by using information exchange between tasks,and improve optimization efficiency by using reference knowledge from solving similar problems.In this paper,two methods are proposed for multi-task optimization of double-row layout and multi-type facility layout respectively.And for the convenience of users,a multi-task optimization system of facility layout is designed and implemented.The main work of this paper includes:(1)Multi-task optimization of double-row layout problem.Firstly,multi-factor evolutionary algorithm was used to optimize the facility arrangement sequence of several double-row layout problems simultaneously.Secondly,linear programming model was used to optimize the exact position of the facility.For the multi-task optimization with double-row layout problem,several problem instances of different scales are generated,and the effectiveness of the method is verified by comparing the particle swarm optimization algorithm and genetic algorithm.(2)Multi-task optimization for multi-type facility layout problems.Firstly,in view of the large difference between double-row and multi-row layout problems,this paper described the unified representation of different types of tasks.Secondly,multi-factor evolutionary algorithm was used to optimize the facility sequence synchronously.Finally,the exact position of the facilty was obtained by linear programming method.Compared with the results obtained by particle swarm optimization(PSO),genetic algorithm(GA)and the multi-task optimization method for double-row layout problem,the effectiveness of the proposed method in solving multitype layout multi-task optimization problem is verified.(3)Designed and realized the multi-task optimization system of facility layout.Based on the requirements of manufacturing enterprises for facility layout optimization,this paper designs the overall architecture of the system,carries out functional modeling,domain modeling and data modeling of the system,and uses multi-factor evolutionary algorithm combined with linear programming method to optimize the layout.The system provides high quality facility layout scheme for enterprises,and can meet the enterprise’s all-round management of the whole production process,and provides convenience for manufacturing enterprises.
