| With the advance of the digital era,as well as the emergence of new technologies such as 5G,Internet of things,smart wear,big data,block chain,and meta-universe,enterprises are gradually increasing investments in the area of digital transformation,and a large number of WAN optimization projects were developed subsequently.Since those projects often entail long project cycles,complex environments,and great technical difficulties,a complex risk environment is also involved.Therefore,how to perform well the risk management for enterprise WAN optimization projects and ensure the successful completion of predetermined goals have become an issue that all project managers need to pay attention to,as well as provide the theoretical and practical research significance to this paper.Firstly,this paper writer referred to a large number of domestic and foreign literature in the field of WAN optimization project risk management,based on which the writer analyzed the current environment of enterprise WAN optimization projects and the research significance and purpose of their risk management.Then the paper introduced the characteristics of risk management of the WAN optimization project,which is the main research point of this paper.Through the WAN optimization project of company L,this paper introduced four core risk management issues to be solved in the project and made the risk management planning process of risk identification,risk analysis,risk response,and risk monitoring.Next,this paper expounded the theory of project risk management and introduced the applicability and steps of FAHP for enterprises’ WAN optimization project risk research.Next,the writer analyzed the real case of this paper,as the WAN optimization project of company L is studied from the project status,project objectives,and risk problems.Combined with the theoretical knowledge in this paper,the project risk assessment process and risk management plan are formulated.In the part of risk identification,this paper employed two classification methods:the project’s internal/external environmental factors and the project’s stages for the identification of projects’ risks.By combining the enterprise characteristics,project characteristics,historical risk data,and project resilience,this paper summarized and arranged the identified risk factors,and employed the FAHP to further analyze and sort out the weighted ranking results of these risk factors according to the risk occurrence probability and the impact level of risk induced losses.This paper then categorized the risk factors into three stages:risk latent,risk occurrence,and risk remedy.By referring to the results of risk analysis,this paper offered countermeasures for each stage respectively and adopted a timed method to monitor the risk process.In the conclusion,the writer pointed out the current shortcomings in the risk management of enterprise WAN project and prospected for future development in this area. |
