Research On Sustainable Development Influencing Factors And Model Of Cultural Heritage Crowdsourcing Project

With the rapid development of digital technology and the growing demand for cultural construction,cultural heritage institutions such as libraries,museums and archives have gradually had the need to transform their digital service models and have actively taken a series of actions.By digitizing,structuring,and correlating cultural heritage resources that are scattered all over the world,or tied up due to their fragility and rarity,various digitization services are provided to the public and researchers.However,the massive volume and diversity of cultural heritage resources make this task challenging in terms of digital collection,organization and management,storage,and utilization,which cannot be achieved by the single power of cultural heritage institution.In this context,cultural heritage crowdsourcing,a model that invites public participation and collaboration,has become a feasible way to transform and upgrade the digitalization of cultural heritage institutions,and has received widespread attention from cultural memory institutions and other cultural organizations.Through cultural heritage crowdsourcing,cultural heritage resource data can be protected,effectively regenerated and utilized,and it also facilitates and makes possible interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary academic work for researchers.It is worth noting that while a large number of cultural heritage crowdsourcing project platforms and results have emerged,there are also a large number of project platforms that have stopped being updated with the end of the project,or have been stalled due to financial and human resources reasons,and many of the results formed through crowdsourcing have eventually been put aside and reduced to information silos,and the sustainability of the project platforms has gradually emerged.Therefore,the practical research and theoretical exploration of the sustainable development of cultural heritage crowdsourcing projects is a topic worthy of attention.Based on the above background,this paper takes cultural heritage crowdsourcing projects as the research object,and conducts an exploration and empirical research on the factors influencing the sustainability of the projects.The research content of this paper is divided into the following parts.(1)This paper introduces the object of the study and related research in detail,including a review of the concepts of cultural heritage crowdsourcing and digital humanities and related research,a review of the practice of cultural heritage crowdsourcing projects at home and abroad,a classification of cultural heritage crowdsourcing projects,and a further review of the significance of the construction of cultural heritage crowdsourcing projects for digital humanities research and related research.(2)Based on sustainable development theory,project life cycle theory and stakeholder theory,the influencing factors of sustainable development of cultural heritage crowdsourcing projects are identified,summarized and integrated through literature analysis,case study analysis and Delphi method,on which the basic framework of influencing factors of sustainable development of cultural heritage crowdsourcing projects is constructed.(3)Using Qualitative Comparative Analysis(QCA),we analyzed the role of factors and conditions in each phase of the project and the combination of conditions on the sustainability of the project from a group perspective based on the framework of influencing factors on the sustainability of cultural heritage crowdsourcing projects,and discussed the results with specific project cases.The results are discussed in the context of specific project cases,and practical insights are drawn.
