With the rapid development of electronic technology,the traditional radar field test has gradually been replaced by radar simulation test system.In recent years,the functions of radar test systems have gradually become complex and diversified,and the test software,as the control center of the entire radar simulation test system,is related to whether the hardware functions of the entire radar simulation test system can be realized and whether the performance can be fully released,so the construction of an embedded system that meets the multi-functional requirements and high integration has become the core problem.Under the Zynq main control platform,this paper develops a set of radar test system software based on Linux operating system,realizes software reusability with decoupling design methods,and adopts multi-threaded design to implement functions according to hardware communication,data storage,signal output and other requirements,and develops custom file systems to manage various data files.The main work done in this article is as follows:1.Realize the migration of Linux operating system in the Zynq environment,including the creation of system boot files u-boot,kernel,and device tree files,and design a custom file system under the root file system to manage calibration data,FPGA online upgrade bit stream and other files.2.Using multi-threaded architecture,through setting thread priority,controlling shared memory read and write,reasonable design of synchronization and mutual exclusion between threads and other scheduling methods to achieve communication,processing,monitoring,transmission four parts of the thread to work together.3.Complete the design and implementation of system communication module,including external Ethernet communication driver configuration and application design,serial port communication driver and application design,and internal AXI bus communication driver and application development.4.Realize the ModBus instruction set and the general control instruction set of the single-control device,and design the data message verification mechanism for the data instruction set to provide guarantee for the accurate transmission of the instruction set.5.Realize the control of hardware-related functions of radar test system,including 1-18 GHz up and down frequency conversion signal output,Doppler frequency shift,delay,modulation,FPGA online upgrade,hardware status real-time monitoring function.After the above content research and development,this paper finally realizes the radar simulation test system software,and verifies the Ethernet interface communication,serial port communication and hardware functions and performance,through verification,this embedded system software basically meets the requirements of various function control and has been applied to radar test projects.
