Traditional culture has always been the symbol of a country’s cultural soft power,which not only reflects the spirit of the nation,but also the driving force of the nation’s continuous progress.After more than 5,000 years of changes,the Chinese nation has accumulated a rich and enduring traditional culture.It contains rich material wealth and spiritual wealth,these precious resources for today’s construction of advanced socialist culture has a very important significance.Therefore,as one of the mass media,television media should assume the responsibility of inheriting and promoting the excellent traditional culture of the nation.This paper takes the TV program "The World Asks for Tea" as the research object,adopts the case analysis method and literature research method to sort out the development process of traditional culture programs and analyze the current situation and social significance of traditional culture TV programs,and takes the characters and tea culture in the TV program "The World Asks for Tea" as the entry point.Through omniscient narrative to "interpretation + interview + experience" structure to tell the tea culture and tea garden workers perseverance,hard work spiritual value.In this way,the centripetal force carried by tea culture can be explored and the audience can be guided to pursue the calm,peaceful and peaceful life through the column of "The World Asks for Tea",highlighting the unique value of tea culture,analyzing the role of audio-visual language in the column of "The World Asks for Tea",and exploring the creation strategy of traditional culture column.
