In recent years,many environmental and ecological problems such as climate anomalies and extreme weather have become prominent,and their impact on human beings has become more and more extensive,making climate change a problem related to the development of all human beings.As the main channel for disseminating climate change information,the media is also an important way for the public to obtain information.At the same time,the media’s emphasis on the dissemination of climate issues is beneficial to the promotion of the media’s image,promotes the media to be at the forefront of industry development,and has positive guiding significance for effectively striving for the right to speak in international communication.attention and participation in change issues,thereby transforming their behavior and enhancing the public’s ability to respond to climate change.The paper selects the news reports on climate change issues in People’s Daily Online from 2009 to 2020 as the research object.Based on the framework theory,the content analysis method is used to sort out the content characteristics of the climate change reports of People’s Daily Online,so as to refine the climate change.The characteristics of the framework in the report on change issues,so as to analyze the factors that affect the construction of the framework;but the media’s dissemination of climate change issues is mainly for the public,and the content of its reports will directly affect the public’s perception of climate issues and participation in climate change actions.Willingness,the thesis combines the questionnaire survey method,takes the audience of People’s Daily Online as the survey object,analyzes the audience’s cognition status,dissemination willingness and low-carbon behavior effect on climate issues,discusses the shortcomings in the report,and proposes corresponding improvement strategies.The main content of the paper is as follows:Chapter one mainly uses the content analysis method to study the content characteristics of the reports on climate change issues.At the macro level,quantitative analysis of the coding results is carried out to present the overall overview of climate change reports,and at the micro level,the overall analysis is carried out from the topic of the report,the information source of the content of the report,the geographical distribution of the report,the genre of the report and the form of the report.In terms of the number of reports,the content of reports on climate change issues presents a “trough-peak” media coverage cycle.The monthly average number fluctuates greatly,and specific nodes increase significantly;The number of reports on the theme of the news report is the most,and the number of action themes such as“environmental protection education” and “advocacy and mobilization” is too small;from the perspective of the information sources of news reports,the media and government information are the main sources,and corporate individuals and NGO have weak voices;From the perspective of the geographical distribution of reported content,the global characteristics are significant,and the reports have obvious tendencies;from the perspective of reporting genres,news reports account for the largest proportion;from the perspective of reporting forms,text is the mainstay.The second chapter mainly studies the frame characteristics of climate change reports.Combining the general definition of framework theory and research needs,the thesis summarizes four frameworks: factual framework,conflict framework,responsibility attribution framework and action-oriented framework.The study found that in the factual framework,the reports on climate change by People’s Daily Online mainly highlight the harmful facts of climate change;in the conflict framework,China’s position and political game are mostly presented;in the responsibility attribution framework,it will mainly lead to The primary responsibility for climate issues lies with developed countries;in an action-oriented framework,there is a call for greater international cooperation and advocacy.The third chapter mainly analyzes the public’s cognition,dissemination willingness and low-carbon behavior when they receive the climate change reports from People’s Daily Online,taking the audience of "People’s Daily Online" as the research object.The study found that the public’s cognition of the relevant concepts,causes and impacts of climate change is in a low-middle state;the public’s secondary dissemination of climate change issues information is weak,and the willingness to make suggestions is low;the public’s voluntary participation in low-carbon behaviors The factors influencing public action are more complex.The fourth chapter mainly summarizes and summarizes the problems of public mobilization in the climate change report of People’s Daily Online based on the previous content.Mainly include: the number of reports fluctuates greatly,and it is difficult to sustain public attention;the information is mainly informed,and the action guidance is weak;the reporting method is modeled,and the visualization and interaction are poor;the professional level of the report is not enough,and the public is more difficult to understand;the content is far from public life,the effect of environmental mobilization is not obvious.Chapter Five puts forward corresponding suggestions based on the analysis of the frame characteristics of the report content and the problems presented by the questionnaire survey,drawing on past experience and research practice.Mainly include: setting up the topic of "hot reports + daily reports" to guide the public to continue to pay attention;to cultivate public responsibility awareness and promote broad public participation;Professional reporters,improve public awareness through in-depth reporting;balance reporting topics and achieve information diversity.
