| Cancer is a public health problem threatening people’s health.Nowadays,cancer prevention and treatment is gradually normalized.How to improve the effect of cancer treatment has become a comprehensive topic.In cancer prevention and treatment,the media plays the role of disseminating knowledge and guiding the audience.In the context of the rapid development of we-media,there are miscellaneous information and rumors,and scientific and professional health news plays an important role.Health Times Website is a highly authoritative and professional domestic health media.It mainly focuses on knowledge popularization and cancer screening,and plays an important role in cancer prevention and treatment.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the cancer report on Health Times Website.Combined with China Cancer Policy and the reality of Health Times Website,this study takes the cancer reports of Health Times Website from 2015 to 2021 as the research object,and adopts the method of stratified sampling to obtain 441 samples.The research mainly analyzes the cancer reports on the Health Times Website through content analysis and text analysis.This paper constructs categories from the perspectives of news source,report source,report tendency,report theme,report genre,report object and multimedia presentation.According to the research findings,the cancer reports on Health Times Website are mainly collected by journalists,and most of the news comes from academic institutions and medical experts.The reports tend to be neutral.Therefore,the communication subject has the characteristics of authority,professionalism and objectivity.Cancer reports play the scientific value of the authoritative responsibility of the media;The theme of the report is mainly prevention and popular science,and the report genre is mainly news and communication.The overall content reflects the professional content interpretation characteristics of prevention and control bias;The subjects of the report are mainly doctors and experts.The video report provides popular science popularization knowledge and shows the scientific communication mode connecting experts and audiences;The title uses more negative words,while the text is good at expressing with the help of fear appeal.The overall text shows a strong level of fear appeal,reflecting the fear text expression that evokes collective risk;The cancer report of health times has the characteristics of a website,providing a rolling comment area and an interactive discussion platform for the audience to provide information reference.At the same time,there are some deficiencies in the cancer report on the Health Times Website: the communication subjects have less dialogue and interaction;Pure objectivity leads to lack of emotion;Lack of guidance in content interpretation;Attribution explanation ignores social factors;Text expression deepens the fear of the audience;The use of communication means is relatively single.This paper puts forward three suggestions for the shortcomings of cancer reports on the Health Times Website: first,balance the information sources to promote the communication subject to form a dialogue,cultivate health journalists to improve the professional quality of the communication subject,and clarify the emotional demands of users to correct the tendency of the communication subject.Secondly,improve the value guidance of the report on the content,strengthen the depth of the content of the report,and balance threat and effectiveness information.Finally,enrich the means of transmission and improve the transmission effect of cancer reports. |
