| In the era of mass creation,China attaches great importance to the construction of an innovative country and has formulated relevant policies to promote the development in order to enhance the national innovation capability and core competitiveness.The cultivation of innovative talents is the key to the construction of an innovative country.Against this background,the Maker Movement was born and its wave of development swept the world.Subsequently,the Maker Movement has attracted the attention and importance of the education field.Education field combines maker culture with education and develops an innovative education model with the goal of cultivating innovative talents.The cultivation of innovative talents should start from children,from the basic education,to consolidate the bottom in order to flourish.The State Council and the Ministry of Education have successively issued policies to promote the development of children’s maker education,so that maker education has officially entered the national level of education development planning.As an important public cultural service institution with social education functions,public libraries should adapt to national development needs,actively explore children’s maker education services,perform social education functions,play an important role in the cultivation of children’s creativity,stimulate children’s innovative spirit,promote the cultivation of innovative talents,and indirectly contribute to the construction of an innovative country.However,children’s maker education is a complex and demanding educational model that requires the support of multiple parties such as creative space,equipment,materials,professional teachers and teaching resources,and funding.It is difficult for public libraries to carry out independently,and Crossover Cooperation becomes an important way for public libraries to provide children’s maker education services,which can absorb multiple forces to participate in the services.Moreover,the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Public Libraries,which was implemented in 2018 in China,clearly proposes to transfer social forces to participate in library construction,which provides a favorable policy environment for public libraries to crossover cooperate to carry out children’s maker education services.At present,there are three main aspects of research on crossover cooperation services of public libraries under the background of children’s maker education: first,theoretical research on crossover cooperation services of libraries under the background of children’s maker education,which mainly explores the significance and feasibility of crossover cooperation of libraries to carry out children’s maker education services.Secondly,the research on the needs for libraries under background of children’s maker education,mainly from two aspects: the needs for information resources and the needs for librarians in maker education.Third,the research on the practice of crossover cooperation services of public libraries under the background of children’s maker education is mainly based on case studies.However,the existing studies cannot comprehensively and systematically reveal the current situation of service development,and do not deeply analyze the specific issues such as the needs of children users and parents for crossover cooperation of public libraries in providing children’s maker education services,the mode of crossover cooperation services,and the influencing factors.The above-mentioned issues can further improve the theoretical research in this field and have an important role in promoting and guiding the in-depth development of children’s maker education services through crossover cooperation in public libraries.Therefore,in order to promote crossover cooperation in public libraries for children’s maker education servicesthis paper intends to analyze the implementation status and user needs of crossover cooperation services of public library under the background of children’s maker education through empirical research,explore the influencing factors of crossover cooperation services,construct a model of influencing factors of crossover cooperation services of public libraries under the background of children’s maker education.On the basis of this,we propose optimized countermeasures and suggestions for crossover cooperative services of public libraries for children’s maker education.This paper investigates and analyzes the needs of children users and parents for crossover cooperation in children’s maker education services in public libraries,and at the same time,examines and analyzes the current status of implementation of crossover cooperation in children’s maker education services in public libraries in China through online surveys and field surveys.Then,we compare and analyze the needs of children users and parents for crossover cooperation services with the current status of implementation of crossover cooperation services,and find out the gaps and shortcomings.Then,semi-structured interviews were conducted with public librarians and partner personnel to extract the influencing factors of crossover cooperative services of public libraries under the background of children’s maker education through a rooted theory approach,and an influencing factor model was constructed.The following conclusions were finally obtained.(1)To understand the awareness level of children users and parents about maker education and the current situation of participating in libraries services,and to obtain the needs of children users and parents for crossover cooperation services of children’s maker education in public libraries.It is found that the needs of children users and parents are characterized by diversified contents and forms of crossover cooperation services,the location of crossover cooperation services on campus,the nature of crossover cooperation services for public welfare,diversified ways of service promotion,and authoritative types of partner selection.(2)The current status of implementation of crossover cooperative services in public libraries under the background of children’s maker education was sorted out in four aspects: content,form,model and management process of crossover cooperative services,and it was found that the content of crossover cooperative services include programming education services,technological invention production services,art DIY services and science literacy education services.The crossover cooperative service forms include "lecture+training" service,competition service,and comprehensive service;the crossover cooperative service models include public interest crossover cooperative service model,purchased crossover cooperative service model and commercial crossover cooperative service model;the management process of cooperative service includes three stages: the preparation stage of crossover cooperative service,the implementation stage of crossover cooperative service,and the summary stage of crossover cooperative service.On this basis,the implementation status of cooperative services for children’s maker education in public libraries is compared with the crossover cooperative service needs of children’s users and parents,specifically in four aspects: content and form of crossover cooperative services,location of crossover cooperative services,model of crossover cooperative services,and types of cooperative partners.(3)To reveal the influencing factors of crossover cooperative services of public libraries under the background of children’s maker education,mainly including:(1)user factors:demographic factors,psychological factors,and family environment factors;(2)public library factors: cooperative service foundation,cooperative service management system,and cooperative service capacity;(3)partner factors: cooperative service foundation and cooperative service capacity;(4)crossover cooperative service factors: crossover cooperative service content,form,mode,location,risk,value,evaluation;(5)social environment factors: political environment,cultural environment,economic environment and information technology environment.And a model of factors influencing crossover cooperative services of public libraries under the background of children’s maker education is constructed.The model was used to specifically analyze the relevant factors affecting the development of crossover cooperative services in public libraries under the background of children’s creative education.Finally,countermeasures and suggestions are proposed in the light of the research results on the user needs,current situation and influencing factors of crossover cooperation services of public libraries under the background of children’s maker education. |
