With the maturity and progress of high-speed Internet,data centers have become the basic support of the modern digital economy and society.The traffic in the data center network continues to increase with the number of users and the volume of data,resulting in frequent congestion in the data center network.Network performance may drop sharply due to severe congestion,and efficient congestion control has always been a challenging problem in the field of data center networks.In-network telemetry(INT)enables the host to obtain fine-grained network status on the switch,which can be used to accurately control network congestion.Although INT-based congestion control methods can accurately respond to congestion and achieve faster convergence,the current INT-based methods in the data center field have the following three problems: First,there is a lack of control in the first RTT.The INT-based congestion control method uses the fine-grained information of the data packet collection switch to be fed back by the ACK packet of the receiving end.However,the sending end cannot re-ceive the ACK within the first RTT sent by the stream,which leads to the flow in the first RTT.There is a lack of control in the RTT; the second problem is that the feedback delay is high,and the fine-grained feedback needs a long feedback path to reach the sender,resulting in a higher feedback delay,which causes the sender to be unable to adjust the congestion in time; The three problems are that the transmission overhead is large and cannot be applied to high-performance data center networks.In high-performance data centers,lower delay and overhead are required.The INT-based method fills the original fine-grained information into the data packets.These fine-grained information The in-formation needs to occupy the payload of the data packet,resulting in an increase in the transmission overhead of the data packet,which is not suitable for high-performance data center networks.In response to the above problems,this article has done the following:First,this article proposes APCC,a method based on the active feedback of the switch.APCC not only uses the fine-grained network information provided by INT to accurately feedback the network state to achieve an accurate response to congestion,but also uses the switch to actively feedback fine-grained state information to make up for the first Lack of control within an RTT;Second,this paper proposes a method of filling feedback based on ACK,Fast Tune.On the basis of APCC,Fast Tune fills the feedback of the switch into the ACK on the reverse path of the data packet,shortening the feedback path and significantly reducing the flow.Feedback delay to achieve timely and accurate congestion control of the data center network.Fast Tune also uses a multiplicative method to adjust the sending window to achieve faster convergence.Third,this paper proposes Bowshot,a congestion control method suitable for high-performance data centers.In high-performance data centers,lower latency and overhead are required.Bowshot further reduces feedback delay through priority scheduling on the basis of Fast Tune.And use the switch calculation method to significantly reduce the transmission overhead of INT,so that it can meet the needs of high-performance data centers.
