According to the rider employment report released by the M platform in 2022,there are 2.95 million full-time riders on the M platform alone,88,500 graduate students accounting for 3%,and 147,500 undergraduates accounting for 5%.The division of labor is becoming more and more detailed,coupled with the scale advantage and technological innovation of the Internet platform,more and more new business practitioners have emerged.According to the data in the "China Sharing Economy Development Report(2021)",there are 84 million sharing economy service providers,accounting for 6% of the country’s total population,including food delivery riders and online car-hailing drivers,who travel between The streets and alleys of the city we live in are the most familiar strangers in our daily life.Examine the reasons why this group is more or less empathetic among social workers.From car-hailing drivers looking tired in suits and leather shoes to take-out riders racing against time and the time specified by the platform,we can find that there are constant conflicts between riders and merchants,including customers and customers,and the constant conflicts between car-hailing drivers and passengers fully demonstrate that in the Conflicts between various stakeholders seem to be almost irreconcilable,but the essence of the problem is that the platform,as the biggest beneficiary and the rule maker,has the final right to interpret all matters.Putting yourself on the exempt side,the bottom line of all this is that the platform does not understand the demands of riders and drivers,but that this relatively vulnerable group(hereinafter referred to as the group)has no right to speak,which requires our social workers to come forward and solve the problem for the group In order to solve this problem,social workers have become the regulators between the enterprise platform and group interests,which can promote social harmony and promote the improvement of social workers ’ intervention methods and systems.Research on empowerment of relatively disadvantaged groups has great practical significance.Guided by the theory of empowerment and empowerment,this paper will focus on the relatively disadvantaged groups that are generally concerned on the Internet,and focus on the following aspects from the perspective of social workers: Literature research,and analysis and comparison between China and other countries based on national conditions;secondly,investigation and literature research on domestic and foreign laws and policies,the rights and responsibilities of relevant subjects,funding sources and use.Conduct comprehensive analysis and research on the rights and responsibilities of relative vulnerable groups,consumers,industry platform enterprises,merchants,trade unions and other relevant subjects and their subjective dilemmas,conduct questionnaire research on some riders,drivers and their managers,and conduct surveys on some units and individuals.Conduct structured interviews;then systematically and objectively measure and evaluate the current state of the industry and its development.Research on the rationality of policies and regulations related to platform management and the protection of labor rights and interests,especially focusing on linking resources for laborers while exploring their potential,doing everything social workers can to empower laborers,and putting forward some countermeasures through research,Promote the improvement and innovation of relevant policies and regulations;finally,on the basis of the above,make judgments and predictions on the development of the industry and its possible impact on related groups.The rapid development of the digital economy driven by new technology has led to the continuous emergence of new economic models and new business formats.Compared with this,various social systems,such as social security and labor rights protection,lag behind economic and social development.At this time,social workers should make use of their professional characteristics,devote themselves to group empowerment under the new employment form,make up for the shortcomings of the system in a timely manner,and explore practical ways to protect the rights and interests of workers in new occupations.Innovate and improve the social security system,make it adapt to the needs of the development of the digital economy,and enhance the flexibility and compatibility of the system.While encouraging the development of the new economy,adhere to the people-oriented,and require enterprises to fully assume social responsibilities.More importantly,social workers should give full play to their professional advantages and actively contribute to the establishment of relevant voice organizations,and strive to promote the establishment of group voice organizations.
