| In the 2020 Tokyo Olympics,the mixed doubles event of table tennis first appeared on the Olympic stage.The Chinese team lost the mixed doubles and missed the first gold medal in the Olympics.At the 2021 Houston World Table Tennis Championships in the United States,in order to commemorate the 50 th anniversary of "Table Tennis Diplomacy",the International Table Tennis Association proposed a multinational mixed doubles combination.Lin Gaoyuan,a male athlete of the Chinese team,and Zhang An,a female athlete of the United States team,paired and won a bronze medal,marking a new chapter in "Table Tennis Diplomacy".In 2022,the International Olympic Committee announced that at the Paris Olympic Games,the table tennis mixed doubles event will continue to be retained.In this context,it is particularly important for China to strengthen the research on the world’s excellent mixed doubles combinations of table tennis.Therefore,this article takes the world’s top table tennis mixed doubles teams Harimoto Tomokazu/Hayata Shina(Japan),Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha(China),and Lin Yunru/Zheng Yijing(Taipei,China)as the research objects,mainly using the video observation method and the double three stage statistical method,through watching 30 important matches of the three pairs of mixed doubles teams between 2019 and 2022,to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the technical and tactical characteristics of the three pairs of mixed doubles teams,and draw the following conclusions:1.After a comprehensive evaluation,the performance of the Japanese portfolio Harimoto Tomokazu/Hayata Shina and the Chinese portfolio Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha in the hair snatch segment is significantly better than that of the Chinese Taipei portfolio Lin Yunru/Zheng Yijing,and the performance of the Chinese portfolio and the Chinese Taipei portfolio is better than that of the Japanese portfolio in the hair snatch segment.The stalemate segments of the three pairs of combinations are all weak links.In addition,the statistical results of the three innings also confirm that the Chinese combination performs best in the opening segment,mainly in the relatively high quality of attack in the starting and snatching segments;The Japanese combination and the Chinese Taipei combination performed better in the middle inning.The Japanese combination mainly manifested itself in the control of the receiving and grabbing segments,with the focus on maintaining control of the situation.The Chinese Taipei combination mainly manifested itself in the active attack in the starting and grabbing segments.2.Harimoto Tomokazu/Hayata Hina performed well in the starting and grabbing section,but the performance in the tail section was not stable enough.Harimoto Tomokazu has strong offensive consciousness,accurate judgment of incoming ball,high quality and fast backhand attack;Hayata Hina serves with high quality,varied landing points,strong ball control ability and large apron area.The performance of the two men in the stalemate was poor,and with the increase of the number of rounds,the mistakes of the two men gradually increased.3.Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha performed well in the starting and receiving stages,able to quickly enter the game state,with the highest scoring rate in the opening stage,strong awareness of attacking in the first three boards,and frequent changes in the route.This combination of technical means is comprehensive,with high offensive quality but weak defensive awareness.It performs well in the stalemate stage,has strong active stalemate ability,and has good control over the rhythm of the ball.4.Lin Yunru/Zheng Yijing performed well in the catch-up section,and the technical application was reasonable,but the stalemate ability was weak.Lin Yunru’s backhand twist on the second board is very aggressive and can provide strong help for the fourth board.Zheng Yijing handled the serve on the second board accurately,and used control tactics combined with forehand pick technique to provide offensive opportunities for teammates on the fourth board. |
