| This paper collects various technical data of the top four athletes in men’s singles badminton at the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games,including Ansai Long,Chen Long,Jin Ting and Corden,in 12 28-game matches in the final stage through various research methods such as literature method,video observation method and expert interview method.Several aspects of their serves,receiving serves,front-middle-back court techniques,last beat technical characteristics and multi-tap rounds were analyzed to elaborate and analyze the actual effects of the athletes’ technical and tactical use in the matches through the match data.This study aims to conduct a systematic research on the technical and tactical characteristics of the top four athletes in men’s singles of badminton in the Olympic Games,so as to provide reference for the competition and training of our badminton players.After collation and analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)In terms of serving and receiving,in this Olympic men’s badminton singles competition,the four athletes mainly adopted the serving of small balls in front of the net in the serving phase,supplemented by the tactic of stealing the backcourt,and the landing point of the serve was mainly concentrated in the No.1 and No.5 positions,meanwhile,the use of the tactic of serving and stealing was strengthened in the technique of serving the ball in front of the net.In the serve-receive technique,suitable serve-receive tactics are used according to different situations.The choice of tactics is more inclined to receive and control the net and open space.(2)In the front court,in this match,the players used the most pick and roll in the net technique,but the proportion of the two techniques was close,and the players fought more fiercely at the net,and the tactic of forcing the opponent to raise the ball with delicate roll was widely used.The players’ struggle at the net is more intense,and the tactic of forcing the opponent to raise the ball with a delicate roll is widely used.(3)In the mid-court,the top four players mostly used net blocking,followed by ball pumping,and less direct picking.In the mid-court confrontation,pick-and-kill net control tactics were mostly used,which not only increased the opponent’s running range,but also reduced their own error rate.Players chose more mid-court grab tactics to gain advantage by using the techniques of flat pumping block and kill.(4)In the backcourt,the top four players mainly used the killing technique,which has a strong killing power and can create active points.This was followed by hanging and flat-high balls,which created offensive opportunities through the combination of fast and slow techniques with kill shots.(5)In terms of the last shot,the key area to decide the winner in the last shot of men’s singles in this Olympic Games is in the front court,the area with the highest scoring rate is the front court,but at the same time,the highest scoring rate is also lost;the area where athletes mainly attack to score in the back court technique,the most adopted is the kill shot,which is also the technique with the highest scoring rate;in the nature of scoring and losing,the highest percentage is direct scoring,followed by unforced errors in In the match,there are more errors,and the players’ technical and tactical stability play determines the trend of the match,and the players’ points lost on the court mainly originate from unforced errors.(6)in the multi-tap rounds,the number of multi-tap rounds in the phase of holding phase accounted for the largest proportion,followed by the attack and defense phase,the proportion of multi-tap phase increased compared to the previous,also reflects the development of modern badminton game to the trend of winning in stability,the beginning of the rounds are not rushed,but the use of their technical and tactical stability and adequate physical fitness to find a breakthrough in the phase of holding multi-tap to score.The top four players all have different characteristics in the multi-tap rounds.The active downward pressure net control players are delicate and fast at the net in the serve-receive and attack-defense stages;the players with more experience,comprehensive skills and better physical ability in the holding and multi-tap stages have a higher scoring rate. |
