Beamforming techniques have been widely applied to the field of wireless communications,which can improve system performance greatly.In comparison with the traditional beamforming techniques,hybrid beamforming techniques combine the features of the analogue/digital beamforming and can be with low computational complexity and better performance.Based on the analysis of the hybrid transmit beamforming technique,irregular sub-array configuration of hybrid transmitting beamforming technique is proposed to meet the demands of the multi-user transmission system.Specific,we put research emphasis on the Rician channel and demonstrate the performance of the proposed approach.The main contents are as follows:1.Based on the introduction of the hybrid beamforming concepts,the thesis shows the differences of the several different sub-array configuration methods of antenna array.2.The Minimum Varian Distortionless Response(MVDR)is applied to the hybrid transmit beamforming.Through the simulation,we compare the transmission performances of interleaved sub-array configuration and irregular sub-array configuration in ideal Rician channel by simulation.The simulation results show that the latter is more suitable for multi-user transmission system.3.Under the condition of the estimation error of the Rician channel,simulation results are given,which shows that the proposed irregular sub-array configuration is with good robust performance.
