Design And Realization Of HINOC MAC Software Based On HINOC SOC

The HINOC technology is a transmission solution between the optical fiber subscriber and the home user in the "Triple play" scheme.It is proposed by technicians of our own country,and can provide users with high performance bi-directional broad-band access using CATV coaxial cable.HINOC develops rapidly in recent years.After its standardization in 2012,SOC solution will also be put into production soon.This paper is based on the HINOC SOC system with CKCORE CPU,and focuses on the MAC layer software driver and the prototype development platform structure.First,the basic principle of the HINOC technology and its main mechanisms of MAC layer are presented.Then,the paper introduces the software and hardware modules of the CKCORE platform in detail,deeply analysises the HINOC MAC software transplantation from the PXA270 to the CKCORE platform,and gives an explicit description of the I2C driver model.Finally,it completes the MAC layer software testing,which indicates that the HINOC MAC protocol works well on the CKCORE platform.The CKCORE platform MAC layer is able to provide a bandwidth not less than 40Mbps and can surely meet the needs of users after integration.
