| Scientific research cooperation can effectively promote urban development and drive its economic growth.In the current complex international situation,scientific research cooperation has been given a different mission by the times.In recent years,the contradiction between China and the United States has been deepening.Although China’s scientific research strength and economic strength have developed rapidly since the 21st century,there is still a certain gap between China and the United States.After 2020,the situation of economic development has changed from high speed to high level.At the same time,he development of scientific research also needs to be close to the trend of steady development and improvement.However,a single subject’s self-creation ability is extremely limited.Actively seeking foreign cooperation,carrying out information exchange and knowledge flow are very beneficial to individual development,and the United States is no exception.In order to explore the influencing factors of scientific research collaboration in the United States,this paper puts forward the hypothesis that the proximity of each dimension affects the scientific research collaboration among American cities.According to the location orientation in Google map,the collected data of schools are used to map their cities,and UCINET is used to build the network map of scientific research collaboration among American cities.In this paper,we use IS&R,USB,HI and other subject journals in web of science platform as measurement data,and manually clean and select the title data.According to the location orientation in Google map,the city is mapped by the collected school data.We use UCINET to construct the research collaboration network of American cities.Through the analysis of the network topology and research collaboration agents,we can detect the location and characteristics of important nodes in the network.Through the analysis of the topology of the network and the main body of scientific research collaboration,the location and characteristics of important nodes in the network are detected.In exploring the impact of multi-dimensional proximity on scientific research collaboration,we know that geographical proximity is the most well-known dimension with the most abundant research results.Based on the traditional geographical proximity,this paper adds the dimensions of economic proximity,strength proximity and technology proximity.Based on this research,from the perspective of multi-dimensional proximity,this paper uses the journal data,patent data,geographic data and economic data of the cities participating in scientific research collaboration in the platforms of web of science,Google map,Google public database and USPTO to construct the proximity matrix of each dimension,and uses QAP analysis to measure the impact of the four proximity dimensions on the intensity of scientific research collaboration among American cities.The results show that:①the current situation of scientific research collaboration among cities in the United States is increasingly complex,but it presents a healthy trend of multi-core and all-round development.The main body of cooperation breaks through the geographical restrictions,and the cooperation behavior between remote nodes is more likely to occur.②Geographical proximity,economic proximity,strength proximity and technology proximity are significantly negatively correlated with the intensity of scientific research collaboration.The hindrance of geographical proximity to scientific research collaboration gradually weakens.The connection of strong and weak strength nodes is more valuable for the formation and expansion of scientific research collaboration network,but there are some differences in the influence degree of each dimension.③The greater the difference in economy,technology and scientific research,the more information exchange,knowledge flow and scientific research cooperation can be promoted.Finally,on the basis of the research conclusions,according to the results of scientific research collaboration among American cities,mapping the actual situation of China,we should optimize and upgrade on the original basis,and transform from developing megacities to multi-core and comprehensive development,so as to provide targeted scientific basis for the improvement of regional overall scientific research capacity,the implementation of science and technology driven development in weak power regions,and the formulation of regional coordinated development cooperation policies According to. |
