| The EasyMesh protocol was officially launched by the Wi-Fi Alliance in May 2018,making it a reality for routers from different device manufacturers to form Mesh networks.EasyMesh makes it easy to add new router hardware to an existing network for Wi-Fi expansion,and the technology can monitor network conditions and adjust automatically.In order for the new Mesh network to carry all kinds of services smoothly,it is necessary to make the STA have excellent switching performance and realize the full movement of the STA.Therefore,how to solve the fast roaming of STA in EasyMesh and enable users to have better surfing experience is a subject that must be studied and has great significance.This thesis firstly studies the EasyMesh protocol in depth,introduces the content and significance of EasyMesh protocol,analyzes the deployment of three typical examples of Multi-AP network,describes the networking process of Multi-AP network in detail,and briefly introduces the three characteristic functions of Multi-AP network.Then the research on wireless LAN roaming technology is carried out,the concept of wireless roaming is introduced,the process of wireless roaming is analyzed,and the mainstream roaming technology in current Wi-Fi network is deeply analyzed.Then,the roaming function of Multi-AP is designed in software outline,which is mainly divided into model design,hierarchical design,data structure design and external interface design.The Multi-AP Controller layer and Multi-AP Agent layer are mainly designed to guide STA to carry out roaming message sequence diagram and program flow chart.Finally,the networking functions of ONU and AP Mesh are tested,the one-hop,two-hop and networking performance of the Multi-AP are tested,and the seamless roaming of STA in the Multi-AP network is tested.The experiment results show that ONU and AP can establish Mesh network by 1+1 and1+2 successfully,and the performance test results are in line with expectations.The captured empty port message is analyzed to prove that STA can roam in the Multi-AP network normally,and the Multi-AP network supports 802.11 k,802.11 v and 802.11 r protocols.When roaming switching,the average delay is 34.9ms and the maximum packet loss rate is 0.06%,Qo S test results meet the requirements of fast roaming. |
