| With the development of information,the increase of people’s time on the Internet and the emergence of various new display technologies,the form and content of people’s visual perception have been greatly enriched.At the same time,more and more workers in display technology,design science,and medicine have begun to study various aspects of visual fatigue caused by display terminals.For example,circularly polarized light and standard dynamic range can all produce less visual fatigue by changing the display terminal screen color temperature,reducing blue light,and by matching foreground and background colors to alleviate visual fatigue.These research findings are also applied as theoretical support to the design of eyeprotection mode and reading-type applications.Therefore,it is necessary to study the influence of display terminals on visual fatigue as a theoretical basis for the design and optimization of eye-protection mode and reading applications.In this thesis,through various methods such as literature method,research method,experimental method and mathematical analysis and calculation,the influence of display terminal color gamut and luminance on visual fatigue is comprehensively studied based on multidimensional parameters,from eye-movement data,ECG signal and subjective questionnaire,etc.,and the comprehensive evaluation of the influence of display terminal luminance on visual fatigue under different lighting environments is conducted,which provides a reference for future researchers engaged in visual fatigue to select visual fatigue.It provides a reference for future researchers engaged in visual fatigue to select visual fatigue evaluation indexes,provides a reference for users to select the color gamut of display terminals,and also provides a reference basis for the design of display terminal luminance and eye protection mode under different lighting environments.The main research contents of this thesis include:1.The research purpose and significance are explained,and the research contents and methods are determined through the current situation of the research on the influence of domestic and foreign lighting environment and display terminal on visual fatigue.2.The visual fatigue generated by prolonged viewing of display terminals verified that eye-movement parameters(blink frequency,pupil diameter),ECG signals(VLF Power,LF Power,HF Power,LF/HF,TP)and subjective questionnaires(eye fatigue,eye soreness,blurred vision,eye tearing,eye dryness,shoulder and neck fatigue,eye comfort)can be used as evaluation indicators of visual fatigue caused by prolonged viewing of display terminals,and also verified the relationship between the above evaluation indicators and visual fatigue.3.By viewing videos on display terminals with different color gamut,it is concluded that the visual fatigue generated after watching videos for 60min on display terminals with 72%NTSC color gamut is more serious than that generated on display terminals with 100%sRGB color gamut,which provides a reference for the selection of display terminal color gamut based on visual fatigue aspect.4.Through the comprehensive evaluation of display terminal luminance on visual fatigue and reading performance under different lighting environments,it guides the interaction design of eye protection mode and reading applications.5.The results of the study show that in the experiments on visual fatigue,when experimental materials with drama or richer and more attractive contents are used,the relevant indexes of ECG signals cannot accurately reflect the visual fatigue of the subjects.In the experiments where the variable was the luminance of the display terminal,the pupil diameter did not accurately and correctly reflect the degree of visual fatigue.6.Both visual fatigue and reading performance were mainly affected by the screen luminance,and there was no significant correlation between them.7.The highest reading performance obtained in the dark environment with a screen luminance of 180cd/m2 was also significantly lower than that obtained in the other two lighting environments.This suggests that the dark environment is not suitable for reading-answer task activities compared to daytime and evening hours.8.The findings of this thesis are summarized.This thesis investigates the influence of display terminals on visual fatigue from the aspects of lighting environment,viewing screen duration,color gamut and luminance,which provides a reference basis for selecting visual fatigue evaluation indexes for relevant research workers in the future,reduces the corresponding research workload,has practical significance and application value for reducing visual fatigue caused by viewing display terminals,and also provides a theoretical reference for the design and optimization of eye-protection mode and reading apps. |
