Since the 1960 s,self-directed learning,as a hot issue in the field of Western adult education research,has attracted the attention of educational researchers from all over the world.Compared with self-learning,self-regulated learning and active learning,self-directed learning pays more attention to the learner’s own goals and motivations,strengthens the constraints from the community and oneself,and adopts a combination of self-directed learning and various activities.Meet the diverse needs of learners.With the continuous deepening of informatization,the blended learning environment combines the advantages of the online and offline learning environment,providing conditions for the occurrence and continuation of self-directed learning,the flexibility of time and space,the richness of learning resources and the diversification of activity organizations.All ensure the realization of self-directed learning characterized by "autonomy,cooperation and reflection".Contemporary learners have active thinking,good information literacy and self-discipline ability,and can carry out self-directed learning well.The development of self-directed learning plays an important role in the cultivation of learners’ self-management ability,problem-finding and solving ability,innovative thinking ability,interpersonal cooperation ability,expression and communication ability.Therefore,it is very important to carry out theoretical and practical research on self-directed learning in a blended learning environment.This research includes three parts: research on influencing factors of self-directed learning in blended learning environment,research on learning model design and model application research.Firstly,on the basis of a full and comprehensive literature analysis in the two fields of "blended learning environment" and "self-directed learning",the influencing factors of selfdirected learning in a blended learning environment are analyzed,and regression analysis is used to verify and calculate the effect of each influencing factor.The results show that learning resources have the greatest impact on self-directed learning,followed by peer influence,metacognition,teacher feedback,learning motivation,learning platform environment,and cooperative learning.Computer self-efficacy plays a smaller role.This part of the research aims to provide a basis for constructing a self-directed learning model in a blended learning environment.Then,adopt a design-based research method,based on humanistic learning theory,activity theory,constructivist learning theory,and self-determination theory,and based on the characteristics of blended learning environments,comprehensively draw on existing selfdirected learning models,and combine the influence factor of self-directed learning.Construct a self-directed learning model in a blended learning environment including "six elements","five levels" and "three stages".The "six elements" refer to the subject that can play a metacognitive role,the learning goals established according to the learning needs,the teachers who play an auxiliary role and the cooperative learning partners,the learning resources and learning platforms that support learning activities,identify different roles and responsibilities of the members,evaluation criteria used to constrain and guide learners;"five levels" refer to the tool application layer,teacher assistance layer,activity monitoring layer,knowledge construction layer and learning target layer;"three stages" refer to the individual knowledge construction stage,cooperative learning stage and learning evaluation stage.Finally,in order to verify the scientificity of the model,this study takes the course "Principles of Database Systems" as an example to conduct two rounds of self-directed learning practice,and after each round of practice is completed,students’ perception of learning behavior is analyzed and reflected through learning texts,interviews and classroom observations to revise and improve the learning model.In addition,this study conducted a differential analysis on the changes of learners’ self-directed learning before and after the experiment,and the results showed that the learning model has a positive effect on promoting students’ self-directed learning.This research combines theoretical research with practical research,qualitative and quantitative methods,analyzes the influencing factors of self-directed learning in the blended learning environment,proposes and revises the self-directed learning model in the blended learning environment,and tests the application effect.In order to contribute to the research of self-directed learning.
