The atomization quality of the fuel will greatly affect the combustion quality,which will have a significant impact on the power,economy and environmental protection of the engine.There is an inseparable close relationship between spray performance and atomization quality,so the quality of spray performance can reflect the quality of atomization to a certain extent.In this paper,the monitoring and research of the spray performance of the aerospace engine spray experiment system is carried out.The design of the system is mainly divided into two parts:image processing and performance parameter measurement.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Compare the three commonly used droplet measurement methods,select the direct photography method suitable for this system,take a large number of atomized droplet images,and then select a part of the images that can better reflect the spraying situation,and use them for In the spray performance monitoring system in order to analyze the spray performance of the spray experimental system.(2)A series of image processing is performed on the collected spray images.First,the spray images are converted into grayscale images,and then background removal,image enhancement and filtering are performed on them to eliminate the influence of interfering factors such as bubbles and noise.(3)Perform edge detection and threshold segmentation on the grayscale image to make it binarized,and then label the obtained binary image,and count the number of marked connected domains to obtain the number of spray droplets in the image.And calculate the size of the droplet by the area method,and get the droplet size distribution map.In addition,this paper defines the coefficient of variation as a measure of the uniformity of droplet distribution,which can evaluate spray performance more objectively.(4)Complete the design and implementation of the spray performance monitoring system,integrate the image processing process and performance parameter measurement process into one system,the system can process the captured spray images with one key,and compare the measurement results obtained by different processing methods.The measurement data can evaluate the quality of the atomization of the spray field,so as to analyze the spray performance of the spray experiment system.
