The traditional manufacturing mode is mainly completed by cutting materials, that is,material reduction manufacturing. As an emerging additive manufacturing technology,3D printing technology manufactures parts by directly stacking materials layer by layer.Compared with the traditional manufacturing mode,3D printing technology has the advantages of fast forming speed and material saving, and also makes it possible to manufacture some models with complex structure.However,3D printing still has the problem of insufficient printing accuracy.Because 3D printing technology is manufactured by stacking layer by layer, there will be obvious ladder effect between layers, which restricts the printing accuracy. The effective measure to reduce the influence of step effect on printing is to reduce the layer thickness, but if the equal thickness slice is sliced with a thinner layer, the time required for printing will be doubled and the printing efficiency will be seriously reduced. How to find a balance between printing accuracy and printing time is an important topic in 3D printing technology.Based on the LDNI sampling method, this paper proposes a sampling method to sample the model 3D file and obtain its geometric features, which avoids the analysis of a large number of triangular patches. And the LDNI sampling environment for the model is written in C++ as the programming language. In the environment, the geometric model can be input, the sampling accuracy can be selected to sample the model, and a txt file with the geometric information of the model can be output. Then, several geometric errors that can cause the step effect of the print are analyzed, and the measurement functions (6))of several geometric errors are constructed, and it can be obtained that the measurement functions of several errors are all functions with the height D of the model as the independent variable. Then, taking the volume error as an example, the weight of printing geometric error is introduced ,The global function is constructed. Then the adaptive slicing program is written in Matlab environment, and the user interface is made. Finally, compared with the equal thickness slicing method, this paper uses a teddy bear model to compare the equal thickness slicing method with the adaptive slicing method to verify the effectiveness of the adaptive algorithm in this paper. The method in this paper can reduce the printing error by more than 20%,and the printing time can be shortened by 15%.
