In the information age,all kinds of research data grow massively,intensive and complex research data urgently need effective management and sharing.Research data management service can not only effectively save and test data,but also promote the reuse of data and play its greater research value.The construction of service quality evaluation index system of research data management in university libraries helps to clarify the service level of research data management in university libraries,promote the construction and improvement of research data management service platform,and provide reference for the practice of research data management service in domestic universities.By combing the relevant literature and mainstream models,we preliminarily construct the service quality evaluation index system of research data management in university libraries.After revising the index system by Delphi method,the index system is composed of 3 first-level indicators: institutional support,management service and social effect;11 second-level indicators,such as full-time staff support,data resource management,user literacy education,academic influence;and 35 third-level indicators,such as librarian vocational training,data use standard,user literacy education content,and research output.Rank sum ratio method and expert authority coefficient are used to determine the subjective weight of the index.Entropy method is used to calculate the objective weight of the index,and the two are normalized to obtain the comprehensive weight of the index.Taking 10 domestic “double first class” universities as the empirical research object,the weighted rank sum ratio method is used to comprehensively evaluate their service quality of research data management.In the final evaluation results,Peking University is excellent.Fudan University,East China Normal University,Hunan University,Xiamen University and Zhejiang University are good.Huazhong University of Science and Technology,University of Electronic Science and Technology,Tsinghua University and Renmin University of China are general.According to the results,suggestions for improving the service quality of research data management in university libraries are put forward from the following three aspects.Firstly,the support of research data management institutions is enhanced by paying attention to institutional policy formulation,increasing investment in research data management and improving librarians’ professional quality.Secondly,the way to enrich the service capacity of research management is to improve the functional integrity of the platform,enrich the service content of the platform,standardize data management and use,and promote data association and exchange.Thirdly,the way to expand the social effect of research data management is to expand the scope of platform opening and sharing,mobilize the enthusiasm of scientific research personnel to participate,strengthen platform publicity,and create a data opening atmosphere.
