Research On The Characteristics And Development Of Local Government News Release

Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,especially after the 3rd Plenary Session of the 18 th Central Committee made a major decision to "promote the construction of the press release system",the construction of my country’s press release system has entered the fast lane of development.As an integral part of the modernization of the government’s governance system and governance capacity,the news release system has played an increasingly important role in optimizing national governance,promoting the openness of government affairs,and guiding public opinion.However,as an important link in the "national-provincial-city" three-level system,provincial local governments have some problems and deficiencies in the press release work.Therefore,the characteristics and development ideas of the local government’s news release work are the research questions of this paper.This paper firstly expounds the brief introduction,constituent elements and functions of local government news release.Through the combination of content analysis method and case analysis method,it uses the daily news release,major theme news release and emergency news release of local government news release work.The three types are the entry points.A total of 624 press conferences of the Jiangxi Provincial Government from 2017 to 2021 are selected as research samples.Different analysis angles are set according to the characteristics of each type,and characteristic research is carried out in combination with typical cases.Finally,at this stage,the common problems existing in local governments’ press release work are summarized,and development ideas are put forward from the aspects of topic design,discourse structure,release form,and professional literacy,in order to promote the development of local news release work in the new era.Improve and enhance.
