| Online fan “comment control” is an organized and disciplined behavior of fan groups to control online comments, usually in the form of spontaneous occupation of the idol’s social media comments, mainly for the purpose of defending the idol,to make comments favorable to the idol, and finally to make the idol’s social media comments form an emotional. The main purpose is to defend the idols and make comments that are favorable to the idols,so that the idols’ social media comments form a unified and consistent state, and help the idols build a good image.Although the “Qing Lang” action has controlled the phenomenon of “comment control”,due to the convenience of the current media and the specificity of the fan group, the phenomenon of “participatory chasing” by fans will not change. However, due to the convenience of the current media and the specificity of the fan group, the phenomenon of“participatory star-following” by fans will not change, and fan “comment control” may appear in another form under the control, and the chaos in the fandom culture is still a topic that we need to solve. Therefore, this thesis takes the Micro-blog platform as an example to explore the forms, characteristics and factors influencing online fans “comment control” in the fandom culture and analyze how to effectively control it.First, this thesis summarizes the definition and forms of “comment control” by online fans based on the relevant literature and our own observations.Combined with the characteristics of Micro-blog platform, this thesis summarizes three generalized characteristics of fan “control”from three aspects, including the target of control, control position and control form.Secondly,we used Python and Octopus information collection software to crawl the popular fan comments under Zhou Zhennan’s blog posts, and obtained 1,996 valid comments.Combined with ROSTCM 6 software,we analyzed the high-frequency words, semantic networks, and emotional attitudes of the comments, and summarized the textual and emotional characteristics of the online fans “control comments”.Again, based on the theories of “use and satisfaction” and “group norms”,we identified four factors influencing online fans “comment control” behavior, such as emotional infection, group identity, psychological needs, and competitive factors, from a holistic perspective. The factors influencing the behavior of online fans were identified from the overall perspective. The data were collected by means of questionnaires, and then the validity test and factor analysis were conducted on the 460 valid samples collected by SPSS 22 software, and AMOS 24.0 software was used to construct structural equation models for the data to investigate the influencing factors and paths of online fans “comment control” behaviors. The study found that online fans’ commentary was homogeneous and shallow, with positive attitudes, and differed from non-fans commentary. In the process of online fans“comment control”,psychological needs, group identity, and competition factors are significantly related to the willingness to perform “comment control” and directly affect the intention to perform “comment control”.In the process of “control evaluation”,psychological needs, group identity, and competition factors are significantly correlated, and indirectly affect the intention to perform evaluation. Finally, based on the results of the empirical analysis, the negative effects of online fans“comment control” behavior in the fandom culture are analyzed. We also propose strategies for the management of online fans “comment control” behavior from four levels: government, platform, idol, and fans.It proposes to crack down on the gray industry chain of comment control, strengthen background monitoring and automatic identification, establish good role models and excellent images, and strengthen community management and self-regulation,providing governance strategies for online fans “comment control” behavior. |
