Research On The Report Of The People’s Daily On The Golden Waterway Of The Yangtze River(2014-2021)

The Yangtze River is the largest river in China,and the golden waterway of the Yangtze River is the main water transport artery across the East and West.In 2014,the State Council issued the guiding opinions on relying on the golden waterway of the Yangtze River to promote the Yangtze River economic belt,which clearly pointed out the need to promote the regulation of trunk waterways,renovate and dredge the downstream waterways,alleviate the bottlenecks in the middle and upper reaches,improve the navigation conditions of tributaries,optimize the port layout,strengthen the construction of collection and distribution system,develop river sea intermodal transport and trunk and branch direct transport,and create a smooth,efficient,safe and green golden waterway.The construction of the golden waterway of the Yangtze River has important practical significance.Under this background,the media plays an important role in publicizing and reporting the golden waterway of the Yangtze River.As the authoritative mainstream media in China,people’s daily is representative.Taking the people’s Daily’s report on the golden waterway of the Yangtze River from 2014 to2021 as the research sample,this thesis makes an in-depth and systematic research from the following three aspects by using the frame theory:Firstly,in the introduction part,it expounds the research background and significance,combs the research status at home and abroad,and defines the research ideas,methods and innovations of this thesis.Then,it explains in detail the concept of the Yangtze River golden waterway,the application of the theoretical framework of the Yangtze River golden waterway report and the research design of the Yangtze River golden waterway report,so as to lay the foundation for the follow-up research.Then,this thesis mainly uses the content analysis method to study 512 reports on the golden waterway of the Yangtze River in the people’s daily from 2014 to 2021.Combined with the four dimensions of gannaim media framework,this thesis analyzes the topic framework,external framework,cognitive framework and emotional framework from the macro level.The analysis found that there is a reporting framework of building smooth green waterways,highlighting project construction,transmitting national policies and focusing on positive publicity.Finally,the research obtains the shortcomings of the people’s daily report on the golden waterway of the Yangtze River,and puts forward relevant optimization suggestions.The study found that there is a lack of efficient theme and insufficient safety reporting;Single reporting perspective and few cross regional reports;Criticize the lack of reports and the lack of depth of reports;Lack of new ideas,lack of new forms,etc.In view of the above shortcomings,we should: report the efficient water transportation system and pay attention to the safe development of the Yangtze River;Enrich the perspective of news reporting and strengthen regional cooperative reporting;Timely report construction issues and fill in in-depth genre reports;Highlight the form of report and innovate the way of picture report.Through the research,it can provide enlightenment for the follow-up report of the people’s daily on the golden waterway of the Yangtze River.To sum up,this thesis makes a systematic study on the report of the people’s daily on the golden waterway of the Yangtze River from 2014 to 2021 by using the frame theory.Through the research,it can not only supplement the application of the frame theory in the water transportation report,help to improve the quality of the follow-up report of the people’s daily on the golden waterway of the Yangtze River,but also help to shape a new image of river transportation in the new era,help the construction of a transportation power,and promote the economic and social development of the Yangtze River economic belt.
