| Public library is an important position to provide public cultural services.It carries the historical mission of spreading civilization,reviving traditional culture and concentrating on national rejuvenation.Service quality evaluation is an important means to promote the development of public library,and it is the practical need of the development of Public Library in China.From the perspective of service quality,the study of public cultural services of public libraries is conducive to attracting readers to participate in library services and finding the right direction for the improvement of library services.It has important reference value for public libraries to provide satisfactory service level for the public under the new situation.T City Library is a public welfare cultural service organization led by T city government.It is not only the cultural center of T city,but also the spiritual home of citizens.Based on the Insync Surveys library user satisfaction evaluation method,this paper studies the public cultural service quality of T City Library.This paper analyzes the current situation of the public cultural service quality of T City Library from five aspects: service efficiency,information resources,reader communication,equipment and facilities and service personnel.On this basis,through interviews with readers and librarians,this paper points out the problems existing in the quality of public cultural services of T City Library,that is,the demand for personalized services is difficult to meet,the supply and demand of information resources and readers are unbalanced,the influence of online and offline activities is insufficient,space facilities are difficult to meet the needs of the public,and the convenience of self-service leads to the reduction of Librarians’ sense of existence.On this basis,this paper explores the causes of the problems,and believes that the obvious differences in the needs of different readers,the difficulty of resource supply to meet readers’ reading,the fault between publicity and promotion and readers’ transmission,the strong demand of the masses for public cultural services,and the difficulty of reflecting the role of Librarians in the new era affect the public cultural service quality of T City Library.Finally,it recommends some solutions and suggestions,such as establishing the display mechanism of readers’ preferences,reasonably allocating information resources to meet the needs of readers,strengthening the effective relationship between readers and libraries,realizing the transformation and upgrading of space facilities,and establishing the image of "librarian in the new era".Thus,it provides an important reference for T City Library to improve the quality of public cultural service,and also provides a reference for improving the service of Public Libraries in Central China. |
