The accelerated evolution of new media context and media technology environment has brought about new expressions and characteristics of otaku culture on social media,and the relationship between otaku fans and mainstream groups has also changed.The two have changed from a one-way suppression and discipline to a two-way influence based on dialogue.This is because social platforms with a sense of participation as their essence provide fans with more media resources,and the media are changing from negative reports and opposition attitudes to trying to communicate with the whole youth group using two-dimensional elements.The secondary subculture and the mainstream culture are no longer a single antagonism,but a more complex,more new era characteristics of the relationship.From the theoretical perspective of spectacle/performance paradigm,this new relationship can be examined.This paradigm does not focus on the two poles of inclusion/resistance,but focuses on the audience’s media use behavior,analyzes how the audience constructs their own identity and seeks the approval of others.It is found that the two-dimensional fan groups on weibo have their own behavior model of media use,and their behavior can be divided into five levels: discourse,structure,purpose,performance and narrative.These media use behaviors are shaped by the social and cultural environment,but they have also penetrated into daily life,or even completely embedded into the daily behavior of fans.Fans can’t leave the happiness brought by these virtual works,immersed in the communication and interaction brought by the use of media.As a result,irrational conflicts,boundary elimination,indulgence in otaku imagination and other problems are caused.We should guide the otaku fans from three levels,namely weibo platform,official weibo of mainstream media and text producer,and optimize the media environment on which they exist.Otaku fan group is faced with the complex media environment,but also actively carry out the cycle of spectacle/performing,the subculture groups to express themselves,for the purpose of the voice integration into the media to use in practice,the ultimate purpose of this article is in the second yuan fan group further into the public view,achieve better dialogue and interaction between the mainstream culture and subculture.
