With the development of computer graphics,object fracture simulation has always been an extremely important and challenging problem.Because the simulation of object fracture involves complex topological changes,in order to obtain sufficient authenticity of the simulation results,an efficient and fine numerical calculation method is needed.In order to truly simulate the fracture effects in different scenes in life,a method to optimize the fracture surface details of objects based on material point method is proposed in this paper.Firstly,the material point method is used to deal with the large topological changes in the fracture process,so as to enhance the efficiency of collision and fracture treatment and reduce the amount of calculation.The static grid is adopted to avoid the complex remeshing process that may be required to transmit the grid in Lagrangian way,while the regular grid structure can simplify the discretization and optimization steps,use the grid to increase rather than cover the particle data and reduce the numerical dissipation.Secondly,in order to solve the problem of unreal fracture details caused by uneven sampling in object fracture simulation,resampling method needs to be introduced.In order to solve this problem,the flow rule between elasticity and plasticity is introduced to provide data basis for subsequent resampling work;Then the Poisson disk sampling method is used to deal with the cavity area and improve the meshing method,so as to increase the details of the fracture surface and effectively reflect the fracture effect.Then,the surface reconstruction technology of l evel set method is optimized to improve its surface processing efficiency for particle data.In the process of object fracture,the connectivity of the surface may change.Implicit surface and symbolic distance function are used to solve the complex calculation problems in the process of connectivity change.The particle skinning is transformed into a constrained optimization problem,and the smoothness is expressed by minimizing the thin plate energy,which makes it easier to understand and improves the computational efficiency.Finally,the overall flow of the algorithm is reviewed,and on this basis,the object fracture simulation experiment system of material point method is designed.Through multiple groups of parametric experiments and comparative experiments,the stability and authenticity of the optimized method for object fracture simulation are verified.
