Exploring The Linguistic Expressions Of Female Sportscasters From A Feminist Perspective

In recent years,the overall development momentum of China’s sports industry is improving,and women have more opportunities to enter the field.However,the proportion of female sports hosts in the whole industry is on the low side,and there are very few excellent female sports hosts.At the same time,the public demand for female sports hosts is increasing day by day,so it is urgent to improve the professional ability of female sports hosts.The research of female sports host mainly focuses on the aspects of professional image,role orientation and cultural accomplishment;however,there are not many researches on the language expression of female sports host.Therefore,from the perspective of feminism,the author conducts a more in-depth study on the language expression of female sports hosts,in order to provide some help for the development of female sports hosts.This paper uses case analysis and literature analysis to finish the graduation work "Report! Let the Ball Fly a little Longer!" Taking classic sports programs as an example,this paper analyzes the linguistic expression features of female sports hosts.This article is based on the feminist perspective,combined with audience psychology,linguistics related theories to make a discussion.The first chapter analyzes the survival background of female sports hosts under the intervention of mass media and market economy and summarizes the language expression characteristics of female sports hosts in special topics.Chapter two and chapter three discuss the advantages and disadvantages of female sports hosts’ language expression and the changing trend under the background of national economic and cultural development at the present stage,and illustrate that women have developed well in the field of sports on the whole.The fourth chapter summarizes the development predicament and enlightenment of female sports hosts in the current stage.Female sports hosts should pay attention to the awakening of subject consciousness,enhance their own sports event literacy,and seek for diversified development paths.
