With the continuous development of wireless technology,wireless network has played an important role in various fields.Each node in the network needs to synchronize with others to realize cooperative communication,so the consistency of time information must be ensured.Therefore,high-precision time synchronization system is an important condition to ensure the high-quality service of wireless network.In order to meet the time synchronization requirements of wireless networks,wireless timing technology has always been one of the most important research directions in this field,and has a very broad application prospect.In the time synchronization system based on wireless network,network timing protocol is widely used in many wireless application scenarios because of its unique advantages.Compared with satellite time synchronization system,network time protocol has always been the main solution of time synchronization in wireless system because it can meet the requirements more flexibly and conveniently in different scenarios.With the continuous development of Internet and 5G positioning,new technologies also put forward higher requirements for the accuracy of time synchronization.However,the inherent shortcomings of wireless systems such as multipath interference also limit the further improvement of time synchronization performance.Aiming at the problem of low timestamp accuracy in wireless channel,an enhanced timestamp algorithm and its implementation scheme are proposed in this paper.The algorithm can estimate the physical layer timestamp in the time synchronization protocol through the synchronization sequence in the wireless system.And it can also improve the sampling accuracy of the timestamp through the iterative algorithm based on the correlation window,so as to improve the timing accuracy of the time synchronization system in the wireless network.The simulation results show that compared with the traditional timestamp estimation algorithm,this scheme can overcome the inherent problems of wireless channel and effectively improve the accuracy of timestamp.The algorithm has better performance in wireless mobile environment.On the other hand,location-based service is also one of the important applications of high-precision time synchronization in wireless networks.For example,the location accuracy of geographic location service can be effectively improved by optimizing the different time information between base station and terminal in 5g NR network.Therefore,this paper focuses on combing the characteristics of downlink synchronization signal in NR network,studies the positioning algorithm based on observed arrival time difference through synchronization sequence and puts forward the implementation scheme of the algorithm.Aiming at three different scenarios,such as indoor and outdoor,5g NR downlink synchronization signal transmission model is established and simulated.The simulation results show that under the existing 5g network deployment conditions,the service accuracy of positioning using synchronization signal can meet the standard requirements in a variety of scenarios.
