Research On Chen Jingyi's "Quan Fang Bei Zu

There are books that collect all kinds or types of data and arrange them according to certain rules to facilitate your search,we call it Leishu.In the Song Dynasty,there were as many books as stars.Chen Jingyi’s Quan Fang Bei Zu first created the style of plant specialist books,and is a sample of later generations’ Qun Fang Pu and Guang Qun Fang Pu.For many years,scholars have studied this person and this work from the perspective of traditional philology,and have made many achievements in the collection,collation,edition and other aspects.However,for the plants and documents in this book,there is no systematic study of them.Firstly,adhering to the principle of "knowing people and discussing the world",this paper studies the background of the completion of Quan Fang Bei Zu.Based on the book,examines Chen Jingyi’s life and friends,and strives to restore the historical background and personal experience of Chen Jingyi’s creation of Quan Fang Bei Zu.Starting from the characteristics of the arrangement style of Quan Fang Bei Zu,this paper explores its inheritance of the compilation ideas of previous generation’s genre books and the comparison of ethics with plants,and then analyzes its recording of plant category characteristics and its three longitude and three latitude genre book style classified by style.Based on the statistics of the cited documents in Quan Fang Bei Zu,this paper discusses its citation methods,analyzes the characteristics and shortcomings of the citation,and deeply reveals the trend of selecting the literature materials in Quan Fang Bei Zu and the era factors behind it.Finally,combining its layout style and literature features,comprehensively discussing the academic value of this book from the aspects of philological collection,collation,and social and historical data of the Southern Song Dynasty.The paper is slightly detailed by predecessors in order to innovate.The author briefly describes the name and native place of the editor,which has been controversial for a long time,and the version system that has been fully investigated.It is of great benefit to ancient plant research,bibliographic research,literature research and cultural research to carry out research around its stylistic features and cited literature features to systematically analyze its status and unique value.
